Pay attention to the “Technical Data”. Place yourself on the scales exclusively for weighing purposes. Protect the scales from sharp jolts and vibrations. Digital baby scale BE 1817 English Start-up Inserting/changing batteries For use, you require 2 batteries of type LR03 (AAA), 1.5 V (included). The battery compartment is located on the underside of the device.

1. Press the locking tab slightly towards the battery compartment cover and remove

the battery compartment cover marked with OPEN.

2. Insert the batteries as shown on the base of the battery compartment.

Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-).

3. Put the battery compartment cover back in place. The locking tab must snap

securely into place. Notes on changing the battery: A change of batteries becomes necessary when “LO” appears on the display, or when nothing at all is displayed.
