How to use the Wilfa SILKY MF1B250 milk frother?

Attach the whisk to the spindle in the glass carafe, pour milk between the min and max levels, place the carafe on the base, then turn on by pressing the touch screen. Select the desired program (it starts automatically after 3 seconds).

What types of milk can I use?

Whole milk (fat >3%) gives the best foam. For plant-based milk, choose barista editions. Avoid cold milk straight from the refrigerator for better results.

How to clean the milk frother?

The lid, glass carafe and whisk are dishwasher safe or can be cleaned with hot water and dish soap. Clean immediately after use to avoid milk residue. Never immerse the base in water.

Can I make hot chocolate with this appliance?

Yes, use the Hot Chocolate (HC) program with pre-mixed chocolate milk. Do not add solid chocolate as it may burn and stick to the whisk.

What to do if the appliance does not start?

• Read all instructions before using the frother. Keep these instructions for future reference.
• Do not immerse in water or other liquids.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
  Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
• Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the appliance as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming.
• The appliance releases steam which can cause burns.

• Do not place the appliance on a hot surface such as a hob or use it near other sources of heat.

• Do not operate outdoors.

• Never touch rotating parts.
• This product is intended for private household use and not for commercial use.

BEFOREUSE

Before using the milk frother for the first time, clean the lid, glass jug, and whisk.

Note: Never submerge the base in water or any other liquid.

USE

1. Attach the whisk to the pin inside the glass jug, then place the glass jug onto the base.
2. Pour milk into the glass jug. Ensure it is between the minimum and maximum levels.
3. Press the touchscreen to power on. Tap to change between the programmes. The selected programme starts automatically after 3 seconds.
4. When the programme is finished, the corresponding icon will flash, and the ap-pliance will go into standby mode.

Note: If you use the milk frother four times in a row, it may be necessary to run a Cold foam programme, or let it rest for 30 minutes to cool down.

Note: The working time in the table above is based on milk at 7 ± 2^ C .

CLEANING

• The lid, glass jug and the whisk can be cleaned in the dishwasher, or in warm water with dishwashing liquid.
• We recommend cleaning it immediately after use, as this prevents milk residue from sticking and makes cleaning much easier.

TIPS AND TRICKS

• Do not overfill- always stay between the minimum and maximum levels to avoid overflowing.
• It is best to froth whole milk (milk with fat content above 3.0% ).
• If choosing plant-based milk, we recommend using the barista editions, as they are often better for frothing.
• Due to the small size of the whisk, please place it in a safe place to avoid losing it or accidental ingestion by children.
• If you try to start the appliance without any milk in the jug, it will automatically enter standby mode.
• The milk frother will not start if there are any liquids underneath the jug. Ensure the base and glass jug is completely dry before use.

The guarantee is valid only for products that are bought and used in private households. The guarantee is not valid if the product is used commercially. The guarantee is not valid if the product is misused, used by negligence, if not following instructions given by Wilfa, if modified or if unauthorized reparation is done. The guarantee is also not valid for normal wear of the product, misuse, lack of maintenance, use of wrong electrical voltage or:
