Operating and Safety Instructions
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using this or any other electrical appliance, always follow these basic safety precautions, especially when children are present.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
WARNING-To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, serious personal injury and property damage please note the following:
- This appliance is not intended for use by children. Keep the appliance out of reach of children and pets. Extra caution is necessary when using this appliance near children.
- Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet and allowed to cool before assembling, disassembling, relocating, or cleaning.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet when not in use.
- Do not immerse or expose the Base, Power Cord, or Plug of this appliance in water or other liquids.
- Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the Manufacturer.
- Do not place appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated oven, or other heated surfaces.
- Use extreme caution when moving an appliance containing food or liquids.
- Use the product in a well-ventilated area. Keep at least 4-6 inches of space on all sides of the product to allow adequate air circulation.
- Use appliance on a table or sturdy flat surface. Keep the appliance away from curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels, or other flammable materials.
- Do not plug or unplug the appliance from the outlet with a wet hand.
- This appliance is intended solely for non-commercial, non-industrial, household use in cooking of food for human consumption; do not use the product outdoors or for any other purpose.
- Do not operate the appliance empty.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter where it may be tripped over or pulled. Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.
- Do not operate the appliance if it has a damaged power cord or plug, if wires are exposed, if it malfunctions, if it is dropped or damaged, or if the motor housing is dropped in or exposed to water.
- This appliance has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this appliance yourself. Please review the Warranty Policy on Page 6.
- Do not put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the appliance, as the power cord could fray and break.
- This Blender has a pulse feature with the “Off” button. To shut off completely please disconnect from power supply.
- To reduce the risk of injury, never place blade assembly on base without securing it properly.3
- Do not blend hot liquids.
- Do not use the Jar if it has been damaged.
- Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands and utensils away from blades while in use to reduce the risk of injury. Blades are extremely sharp. Handle with care. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: Do not use for crushing ice or overfill with frozen fruits. Make sure you have filled with at least 1 cup of liquid before adding frozen solids. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used: − The marked electrical rating must be at least or as great as that of the product. − Arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over or pulled.
WARNING: This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other blade) to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This is a safety feature. The plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully insert the plug into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug. Tamper Resistant Screw:
Warning: This Blender is equipped with a tamper-resistant screw to prevent the removal of
the outer cover. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not attempt to remove the outer cover. Before First Use IMPORTANT: Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding as there may be accessory parts contained within the packaging material.
WARNING: Before your first use, wash the Glass Jar, Filler Cap, Lid, and Blade Assembly using
warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry before assembling the Blending Jar. Speed Uses Pulse/ Off Use for Smoothies or to blend thick mixtures. High /Lo Push the Hi/Low Button for Speeds 1-6 / Leave the button out for High Speeds 7-12 1/7 Low 1- Low setting for starting or for quick cleaning / High 7- Good for Grating for Soups 2/8 Low 2- Puree fruits or Vegetables / High 8- Blends quickly, great for baby foods. 3/9 Low 3- Cream / High 9- Allows you to Shred Cooked Meats or Veggies 4/10 Low 4-Chop Veggies / High 10- Make Salsas and Sauces 5/11 Low 5- Whip Gravies / High 11- Liquefy cooked veggies for soups or gazpachos 6/12 Low 6- Mix ingredients together / High 12-Ice Crushing capability
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Blender Jar assembly is as follows:
1. Turn the Blending Jar upside down and place on a flat surface. Add the Blade to the Base
and top with the Rubber Gasket.
2. Insert Blade Assembly with the Gasket between the Glass and the Blade. Turn the Base
clockwise until it is tightly secured.
3. Turn the assembled jar right side up. You may choose to add water to make sure it does
not have leakage. Using Your Blender:
WARNING: Avoid contact with moving parts.
1. Place the Motor Base on a clean, flat surface. Fill your Glass Jar with your favorite
ingredients; do not fill past the Max line. CAUTION: Add liquids first and do not overfill the product or operate it when empty.
2. Insert the Glass Jar to the Motor Base turn until the slots lock in place. Add the lid with the
Filler Cap in place.
3. Connect Plug to the nearest 120 V AC electrical outlet. Pulse your beverage to the
consistency and speed of your preference. Note: Push the Hi/Low Button for Speeds 1-6 and leave the button out for High Speeds 7-12. Attention: First use may cause a slight odor or small smoking upon heating, it is normal. This is a result of the heating element chemical reaction. It quickly goes away. Blade Assembly -Blade -Gasket -Base
4. When you have finished blending, press the pulse/off button. Make sure the blades have
come to a complete stop before attempting to remove the jar from the base. Turn the Jar counterclockwise to remove from the base. Blending Tips:
- Filler cap should only be removed to add ingredients. Do not remove the lid while the blender is in use.
- Large foods should be chopped before placing into blender.
- If the mixture is very thick try adding some liquid and pulsing to a thinner consistency.
- While the appliance is OFF you can use a rubber spatula to scrape the sides of the jar. Make sure you remove all utensils before continuing. Place Lid back and blend.
- The Lid cap holds up to 30 ml of liquid and can be used to measure when adding ingredients.
- Please do not use your blender to make Breadcrumbs, Grinding Coffee Beans, and Chopping Nuts, Whipping Cream, Beating Egg whites, Mixing Dough, Mashing Potatoes, Grinding Meats or Extracting Juice.
- When using the Pulse function use short bursts. Allow the blades to stop completely between pulses. Do not Pulse for more than 2 minutes.
- It is recommended to begin blending at a low speed and gradually increasing if necessary.
- If you will blend warm ingredients still steaming, remove the filler cap covering the opening with a cloth to avoid splattering and blend only on the lowest speed. This allows any steam to escape.
- Do not blend any of the following products in your blender: − Large pieces of Frozen Food − Raw Turnips, Sweet Potatoes, Potatoes − Bones − Hard Meats − Boiling Liquids (allow to cool for 5 minutes)
- Do not store food in the Jar.
- Do not use blender if the Jar is chipped or cracked.
- It is recommended to rinse parts immediately after use to make cleaning easier. Cleaning Your Blender:
WARNING: Always unplug the product and allow it to cool before cleaning or storing it. Allow
the Blades to come to a complete stop before removing Jar from base. NOTICE: Never immerse the motor base, plug or cord in water or any other liquid.
- Make sure the Blender is not plugged in and remove the Blending Jar from the base.
- Only the Blending Jar, Lid, Filler Cap, and Blade Assembly can be washed under running water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or pads.
- Handle blades with extreme caution. You may use a small nylon bristle brush to remove food that has adhered to the Blade assembly.
- The motor base may be wiped with a soft damp cloth.
- Dry all parts thoroughly before storing or using again. Store in a cool, dry place.6

We exclude all claims for special, incidental, and consequential damages caused by breach of express or implied warranty. All liability is limited to the amount of the purchase price. Every implied warranty, including any statutory warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is disclaimed except to the extent prohibited by law, in which case such warranty or condition is limited to the duration of this written warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other legal rights that vary depending on where you live. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or special, incidental, or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitations may not apply to you.
