The window opening must be at least 20 cm high. The width must be between 65 and 100 cm.
How do I clean the Vornado TRANSOM fan?
Unplug the unit before cleaning. Use a vacuum with a brush to remove dust, then wipe with a soft cloth. Do not use chemicals, gasoline, or solvents.
The remote control is not working, what should I do?
First check the battery: replace it with a CR2032 3V battery. Make sure no obstacles block the signal between the remote and the receiver on the unit.
How do I replace the fuse in the plug?
Unplug the unit. Use a small flat-head screwdriver to open the fuse cover on the plug. Carefully remove the old fuse and insert a new 2.5A 125V fuse. Close the cover.
What is AUTO mode and how do I use it?
AUTO mode automatically adjusts airflow based on ambient temperature. Press the AUTO MODE button to activate. Set the desired temperature between 60 and 90 °F (15-32 °C) with the + and - buttons. The display flashes then returns to actual temperature.
