Acknowledgements Thank you for purchasing a Concept product. We wish you much joy with your new appliance every day you use it. Please read the instruction manual carefully before initial use. To refer to this manual any time you need to, we recommend you to keep it in a safe place. And please pass it to any future owner of the appliance. IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- Do not use the appliance in any other way than as described in this manual.
- Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the values on the rating plate of the appliance.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on or connected to the mains.
- If you put the appliance down during use, always switch it off.
- When not in use, put the protective cover on the blades.
- Switch off the appliance when changing attachments.
- Before connecting or disconnecting the appliance from the mains socket, make sure that the switch is in the off position.
- When disconnecting the unit from the wall outlet, never pull the power cord, grasp the plug end and disconnect it by removing it from the receptacle.
- Do not allow children or unauthorized people to handle the appliance, use it out of their reach.

- Do not repair the appliance yourself. Contact an authorized service centre.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user must not be carried out by children unless they are 8 years old and under supervision. Children aged under 8 years of age must be kept away from the appliance and its power cord. Do not let children play with the appliance. Damages from failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions are not covered by the warranty. GENERAL INFORMATION This appliance is waterproof. It is suitable for use in a bath or shower and for cleaning under running water. For safety reasons, the appliance can therefore be used only without the power cord. CHARGING The battery status is apparent from the performance of the trimmer. If the trimmer starts to run slower, the battery is nearly discharged and needs to be charged for optimal performance.
1. Plug the small connector into the trimmer and the adapter into the wall outlet (adapter not included)
2. After charging, unplug the power unit from the electrical outlet and pull the small connector out of the appliance.
3. A full charge is indicated by the red charge light that stops flashing.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS The trimmer can be used for trimming, shaping and shaving facial hair (beard, moustache, sideburns). Do not use this trimmer for shaving, shaping or trimming hair on other parts of the body. This appliance can only be used without a cord. Turning the appliance On/Off Press the power button once to turn the trimmer on. Press again to turn it off. Shaving face Safety precautions: Always check that the blade is not damaged or worn before using the trimmer. In that case, never use the appliance.
1. Turn on the trimmer.
2. Place the blade against the skin and, under moderate pressure and with long strokes, slowly move the appliance up
or against the direction of beard growth.
3. Make straight strokes under light pressure to create sharp lines and contours.
4. Turn the trimmer off and clean after each use.
Trimming with comb attachment The comb attachment for beard allows you to trim the beard to different lengths (1.5 / 2.5 / 3.5 mm).
1. Place the attachment on the blade so that its teeth point upwards.
2. Turn on the appliance.
3. Place the attachment on the skin and move the appliance in the direction of the teeth of the comb attachment.
4. Turn the trimmer off and clean after each use.
Cleaning and maintenance
1. Remove the comb from the blade (the trimmer must be off)
2. If a large amount of hair has accumulated in the trimmer/attachment, blow it out first.
3. Then turn the trimmer on and rinse the blade with lukewarm water. Then rinse the comb attachment.
Warning: Do not dry the blade with a towel or other cloth as this may cause damage.
4. Allow the trimmer and comb attachment to dry.
Replacing the blade For optimum trimming results, we recommend replacing the blade every 4 months when the blade no longer works as expected when shaving or trimming. Use only original and compatible Concept blades.
1. Turn off the appliance
2. Grasp the blade from both sides and carefully remove it upwards.
3. Grasp the new blade from the sides and push it onto the handle (you will hear a clicking sound).

The warranty specifically does not apply:
- if the product installation, operation and service conditions stipulated in the product operating manual have not been adhered to,

- to malfunctions caused by natural disaster,

- to changes in colour of the heating surface or to scratching of the surface caused as a result of using the products in an unusual manner,
