FUTURE REFERENCE ATTENTION 7Keep handy the guarantee, receipt of payment and these instructions for future use and reference. After removing the packaging, check the appliance for any signs of damage. In case of visible damage, do not use it and contact a qualified technician. Keep all parts of the packaging out of the reach of children. The appliance is not a toy: it is an electrical device and must be treated with the necessary caution. Do not use adapters or extension cables which do not meet current safety standards or that exceed the current carrying capacity limits. When you don't use the appliance assure that the selector is switched off (position 0). The use of any electrical appliance requires to respect basic rules, namely: - Never touch the appliance with wet or humid hands. - This appliance must not be used by individuals (including children) with diminished physical, sensory or mental abilities or who lack the experience or knowledge on how to operate it unless they are supervised or have been instructed on the use of the appliance by someone who is responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to make sure that they do not play with the appliance. - Do not leave the appliance exposed to weathering (rain, sun). - Do not subject it to rough handling. Attention: keep dry the appliance. The appliance has been designed and manufactured to operate for domestic use. Any other use is considered inappropriate and dangerous. In case of a breakdown or malfunctioning of the appliance, do not attempt to repair it, but take it to a service centre approved by the manufacturer. For safety reasons, the appliance should never be opened. If you suffer from medical problems involving your feet or legs, such as phlebitis, varicose veins, skin excoriations or some other problems, consult your doctor for frequency or applications, as well as possible controindications. Expectant mothers, people who suffer from diabetes and people who carry pacemakers must consult their doctor before using this appliance. Use the massager not over than 20 minutes. Do not massage the same part of the body for more than 5 minutes. The appliance is not homologated for medical purposes.

>GB Switch the massager on by sliding the button into position for the massage or position to activate massage and infrared function. Press the massaging feet on painful contracted muscles for a relaxing sensation. To switch the appliance off, move the button to the “0” position. To remove the massaging feet accessory (5), rotate it anticlockwise and use the infrared function (6) for deeper penetration into the muscle tissue. To apply the GEL accessory (4), connect it onto the massager with the top arrow symbol at a distance of about one centimetre to the left of the bottom arrow symbol and rotate it clockwise until the accessory locks in place. Massage types. With 4 feet: Use the node accessory with the “vibration” function for simultaneous stimulation in several points (Fig.1). The rubber cover can be removed to obtain a more superficial massage, while for a deeper massage it is recommended that the nodes be left in place. The possibility to remove the nodes also allows convenient cleaning. Whit GEL accessory - cold massage (m243 only): Keep the accessory in the refrigerator for at least 30 min. and use it with the “vibration only” function to invigorate tired muscles. Ideal for massages to be carried out on localized parts of the body in specific points (Fig.2). Whit infrared: Use the “vibration + infrared” function for deeper penetration into the muscles with a pleasant sensation of warmth (Fig.2) FIG.1 FIG.2This appliance does not require special maintenance. Clean it regularly. Before cleaning, make sure the appliance is switched off. Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the exterior of the appliance, while the accessories should be rinsed well and left to dry completely before being put away. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the appliance surface. Do not use abrasive products or chemical solvents. DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER. Installation or replacement of the battery. Before replacing or removing the battery, make certain that the appliance has been switched off. Press the button (A) under the massaging head (Fig.3) to open the compartment. Replace the batteries with new ones having the same technical characteristics indicated on the appliance and make certain they are inserted with the correct polarity. Close the cover correctly. If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period of time, remove the battery. If the battery is leaking, be careful not to touch the acid which has leaked out. If you come into contact with the acid, wash your hands thoroughly. Be careful that the acid does not come into contact with the eyes and that it is not ingested. Remove the battery from the appliance before its disposal. The battery must be disposed of in the appropriate containers. MAINTENANCE >GB

Massage techniques. Back: The massager can be used with a vertical movement along the backbone and shoulder blades and with a circular movement to loosen particularly tight muscles. Neck: Move the massager with a vertical movement along the base of the head and to the sides. Arms and legs: Massage the muscles with decisive and regular vertical movements.
