- To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove any of the covers. The unit contains parts that are not accessible to the user.
- The device label is located on the back of the device.
- Always disconnect the mains connection before cleaning the well and/or pump.
- This decorative fountain is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
- Never operate the pump without water.
- If the cable or adapter is damaged, be sure to replace it with identical parts before continuing to use it. Have repairs carried out by qualied personnel only. Repair is required if the appliance has been damaged in any way, i.e. if objects have fallen on it, if it does not function properly or if it has been dropped. Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself.
- Do not reach into the water during operation.
- Please be careful when using the unit by or near children, the physically handicapped or the elderly. This device may only be used by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities after detailed instruction. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the equipment.
- Operate the pump only in conjunction with tap water or fresh water at temperatures up to 35 °C or lower.
- Use distilled water or change the water at regular intervals to prevent damage from settling contaminants such as lime or bacterial contamination.
- Check the function of the pump and the cleanliness of the well regularly, especially if the well is in operation for a long time.
- If you do not use the well for a long time, disconnect the power and remove the water.11
ASSEMBLY Step 1: Put the small barrel onto the large barrel and x the connection of both barells with to wing nuts (D). Step 2: Put the pipe into the bottom of the hand pump (A) and use the thread to lock it in place. Take care not to overtighten the thread. Step 3: Put the hand pump (A) on the small barrel and x it with three screws (C) (use the pre-drilled holes for orientation).13
Step 4: Put the electric pump (B) into the large barrel, leading the mains cord out of the barrel to a nearby outlet. Step 5: Connect the water pipe to the pump valve and immerse the pump in water completely (ll the barrel at least half). At last, connect the power cord to any household outlet. The pump should start working after a short while.
INSTRUCTIONS ON THE PUMP
Note: Ensure that the electrical cord loops below the electrical outlet to form a “Drip Loop”. This will prevent water from running down the cord into the electrical outlet.
- To avoid electric shock, connect the plug to a grounded outlet only.
- Do not modify the plug.
- Check the voltage on the equipment label before use. Only connect the device to sockets that correspond
- to the voltage of the device.
- Do not pump ammable liquids
- Do not use with water above 35°C.
- The pump is to be supplied through a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating
- current not exceeding 30mA. Notes on Performance
- A clogged or dirty intake screen will greatly reduce performance. If the pump is used on a dirty surface, raise it slightly to reduce the amount of debris contacting the intake. If slower ow is desired, adjust the ow control lever on the side of the pump or restrict the discharge ow.
- Do not let the pump run when not submerged in water. Doing so may damage the pump. Always submerge the pump in the water before plugging in the electrical outlet. It is common for air to be in the pump and tube when rst plugged in. Continue to unplug the electrical cord and then plug it back in until water begins to ow.HINTS ON DISPOSAL If there is a legal regulation for the disposal of electrical and electronic devices in your country, this symbol on the product or on the packaging indicates that this product must not be disposed of with household waste.
