How do I adjust the helmet to my head?

Use the wheel at the back of the helmet: turn right to tighten, left to loosen. The helmet should be firm and not move.

How do I adjust the chin strap?

The chin strap is adjusted via the strap and strap clip. It must be tight, but allow comfortable breathing and swallowing. The straps should not cover the ears.

What is the safety standard of this helmet?

Can I use this helmet for cycling?

No, paints, stickers and solvents can damage the protection of the helmet. Use it as is.

Measure the head circumference with a tape measure. The helmet should be firm without being too tight. If it moves or presses, choose another size.

Important information

Please read the following instructions and information carefully before using your new helmet for the first time. This helmet was developed for use with skateboards, inline skates, roller skates and similar groups, and manufactured according to state of the art. Despite maximum safety standards, serious accidents may result in injuries. In some cases, the impact may be so strong the helmet does not effectively protect the rider from head injuries.

Compliance with the requirements according to Annex II of European Directive 89/686/EEC (and subsequent amendments) as well as those of harmonizing technical standard EN 1078 was certified by the issuing authority TÜV Rheinland LGA Products GmbH, Tillystr. 2, D-90431 Nürnberg, Germany, Notified Body No 0197.

Intended use

This product was manufactured for skateboarding, inline skating, roller skating and similar groups. It is not suitable for other sports or motorcycling.

Safety notices

• Do not allow children to wear this helmet while climbing or playing as this carries a risk of strangulation.
• The helmet must be firmly seated and the chin strap closed tightly.
• Do not shift the helmet toward the neck, as this will leave your forehead unprotected.
• Do not wear headgear under the helmet.
• Be sure not to restrict air circulation.
• Never modify the helmet, its structure or the individual components.
• Never paint the helmet and/or apply decals or labels.
• The impacts of paint, decals, cleaning liquids or other solvents can seriously impair the protection of the helmet.
• The helmet is intended to protect the head in the event of an impact. This protection is no longer warranted after just one (even minor) impact. The helmet must therefore immediately be replaced following an accident, even without visible damage.
• Never use solvents or abrasive cleaners containing petroleum to clean the helmet, neither inside nor outside. Always use a pH-neutral detergent diluted in clear water; carefully rub with a soft cloth. Then dry with a lint-free cloth. The padding may be cleaned with a little soap, using a soft brush.
• Only use OEM replacement parts for your helmet.
• The life of this product varies by use. However, the product must be replaced no later than five years from the date of manufacture (Version: 02/2016).

Helmet sizing

• Measure the circumference of the head and select the helmet size accordingly. Try several helmets before deciding. Ideally, the skin over your temples moves along when wearing the helmet.
• Verify the helmet does not move much on your head even with chin strap loose.
• The chin strap must be closed firmly for a secure seat. It is fitted correctly when it is difficult to slide your fingers under the chin straps. However, you must still be able to comfortably breathe, swallow and turn your head.
• The helmet is seated correctly if it is tight, yet comfortable on your head (Fig. B).
• If the helmet is too large (wiggles, cannot be adjusted tightly enough) or too small (pinches, forehead exposed), please select the next larger or smaller size.
• Never use the helmet if it cannot be adjusted correctly.

Adjusting the chin strap (Fig. C)

The general length of the chin strap can be adjusted with the loop. You may also use the strap divider clip to adjust the length of the chin strap. Please ensure that the strap divider does not bother you, the straps do not cover your ears, and the fastener does not rest on your chin.

Headband width adjustment (Fig. D)

Use the wheel for variable adjustment to your head size to ensure the helmet is seated optimally. Turn the wheel clockwise to tighten the headband and counter-clockwise to loosen the headband.

Maintenance and care

Regular maintenance and care contributes to ensuring the safety and preservation of the helmet.

• Always use a pH-neutral detergent diluted in clear water; carefully rub with a soft cloth. Then dry with a lint-free cloth.
- The padding may be cleaned with a little soap, using a soft brush.

Storage

Store the helmet in a dry, well ventilated location at room temperature when not in use. Avoid heat sources.

Disposal instructions

3 years warranty

The product was produced with great care and under constant supervision. You receive a three-year warranty for this product from the date of purchase. Please retain your receipt.

The warranty applies only to material and workmanship and does not apply to misuse or improper handling. Your statutory rights, especially the warranty rights, are not affected by this warranty.
