Intended use
This massage and heating cushion is intended solely to provide relaxing massages in the shoulder area, back, hips and upper thighs. This appliance is intended for private use only. It can be used in the car as well as in dry interior rooms. This seat cushion is not intended for use in hospitals or for commercial applications. It is particularly unsuitable for warming babies, infants, persons who are helpless or insensitive to heat, and should not be used for animals. Any usage other than that described above, or modification of the seat cushion, is not permitted and may result in injury and/or damage to the seat cushion.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper application or usage. The user is the sole bearer of the risk.

Basic safety instructions
For safe handling of the appliance, follow the safety information below:
Read the instructions!
Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all operating and safety instructions.
Before use, check the appliance for visible external damage. Do not use an appliance that has been damaged or dropped.
To avoid possible risks, arrange for damaged cables or connectors to be exchanged by an authorised specialist or the Customer Service Department.
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 over and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been told how to use the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children unless they are supervised.
Operate the appliance only with the supplied mains adapter or a 12 V car adapter.
- Do not use the seat cushion for helpless persons, babies or persons who are insensitive to heat (e.g. people with diabetes, people with illness-related skin changes or scarred areas of skin in the usage area, or after ingesting pain-relieving drugs or alcohol).
Do not operate the seat cushion unsupervised.
All repairs must be carried out by authorised specialist companies or the Customer Service department. Improper repairs can pose significant risks to the user. Warranty claims also become void.
Defective components must always be replaced with original replacement parts. Compliance with safety requirements can only be guaranteed if original replacement parts are used.
- Protect the seat cushion from moisture and liquid penetration. Never submerge the appliance in water and do not place objects flled with liquids (such as flower vases) on the appliance.
Do not insert needles or other sharp pointed objects into the seat cushion.
To avoid overheating, the appliance must not be used in the vicinity of heat sources, naked fl ames (e.g. candles) or in direct sunlight.
- When the appliance is being used in vehicles, it must be ensured that safety equipment is not adversely affected, particularly the side airbags. Please refer to the operating instructions for your vehicle or ask your workshop if you have any questions regarding airbags.
The appliance has hot surfaces. Persons who are insensitive to heat must take care when using the appliance.
Please ensure that you do not fall asleep when using the seat cushion. Using the appliance for too long can cause burns.

- Do not use the seat cushion on areas of the body that are inflamed, injured or swollen. If in doubt, obtain medical advice before using the appliance. Otherwise the infl ammation, injury or swelling may be aggravated.
During operation, always ensure that the 12 V car adapter is firmly plugged into the 12 V connection and the socket is free of dirt. If there is insufficient contact between the connector and the socket, vehicle vibration may cause the power supply to switch on and off at short intervals. This can result in overheating.
Please ensure that you:

only connect the seat cushion to the voltage specified in the technical information,
-
do not switch the seat cushion on when it is folded or pushed together,
-
do not kink the seat cushion sharply,
-
do not place any objects such as cases or washing baskets on the seat cushion whilst it is switched on. Otherwise the seat cushion could become damaged.

NOTE
Check the delivery for completeness and for signs of visible damage.
If the delivery is incomplete, or is damaged due to defective packaging or through transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see chapter Service).
Disposal of packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging materials have been selected in accordance with their environmental friendliness and disposal attributes, and are therefore recyclable.

Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

Handling and use
This section provides you with important information on handling and using the appliance.
Using the seat cushion in the car
Place the seat cushion on the car seat.
Pull the upper seat cushion 1ecuring strap 2 over the head restraint of the car seat.
Secure the seat cushion 1arefully using the securing straps 2 (see Fig. 1).

TIPS
It is not always necessary to use every strap 2. Work out the best way of securing the seat cushion to your seat. Use the following illustrations for assistance.
If the backrest is extremely high or wide, secure the seat cushion as shown in figure 2.
If the backrest is extremely low, secure the seat cushion 1 as shown in figure 3.

DANGER
If your vehicle is equipped with side airbags, please ensure that the upper securing strap 2 is only folded over the head restraint supports and not over the top part of the car seat when securing the seat cushion (see Fig. 2). Otherwise the side airbag may be affected!
Connect the low voltage plug of the 12 V car adapter into the connection socket of the seat cushion
Plug the 12 V car adapter into the cigarette lighter.
Using the seat cushion at home
Place the seat cushion on a suitable stool or armchair.
Secure the seat cushion carefully using the securing straps 2
Connect the low voltage plug of the mains adapter into the connection socket 10 of the seat cushion
Insert the plug of the mains adapter into a mains power socket.
Switching the seat cushion on/off
NOTE
The remote control features back lighting. If the back lighting does not illuminate, it will light up on the first press of the 6, 8 or the 9 button. The buttons will not function until they light up. After approx. 5 seconds the back lighting will switch off.
If you press the OFI7 button, the appliance will switch off immediately.
Press the ON button to switch on the seat cushion 1he display 5 shows MODE
NOTE
As soon as the appliance is switched on, the timer automatically starts counting down from 30 minutes. The remaining time (TIME) appears on the display 5.
To protect the appliance from accidental continuous operation, it switches itself off automatically after 30 minutes.
Before the 30 minutes have elapsed, you can press the OFF button to switch off the seat cushion.
Select massage programme
There are a total of 8 programmes (MODE I-B) available. The programmes vary in their intensity, the areas massaged and also the rhythm used.
Press the MODE8 button repeatedly to scroll through the available massage programmes.
Switching the heat function on/off
Press the ON9 button to switch on the seat cushion 1he display 5 shows MODE.
Press the button to switch on the heating function. The display shows the symbol for the heating function .
Before the 30 minutes have elapsed, you can press to switch off the heating function.

Replacing the fuse
There is a fuse in the 12 V car adapter for protecting the vehicle's on-board power supply. If the appliance no longer works, check the fuse and replace if necessary.
Open the 12 V car adapter by turning the screw attachment gently anticlockwise (using pliers if necessary) and remove it along with the plug tip (B).
Remove the fuse(A) from the 12 V car adapter 11.
Insert a new fuse (type 3A 250 V) into the 12 V car adapter. Screw the screw attachment together with the plug tip back onto the 12 V car adapter.

NOTE
If the appliance still does not function, or the fuse blows again immediately, there is a defect. Please then contact the Service Hotline (see chapter Service).
Cleaning
CAUTION
Possible damage to appliance!
Always disconnect the power supply before cleaning.
Protect the seat cushion 1 from moisture and liquid penetration.
- To avoid irreparable damage to the appliance, never submerge the seat cushion water.
Do not use chemical cleaners or scouring agents to clean the seat cushion
Do not hang up the seat cushion to dry using clothes pegs or similar.
- Do not re-connect the seat cushion to the power supply until it is completely dry.
Clean the seat cushion with a lightly moistened cloth and a mild detergent.
Storage
Store the remote control in the storage case provided on the side of the seat cushion 1.
If the seat cushion is not going to be used for a long period, keep in the original packaging in a dry place without anything placed on top.
- Do not place any objects on top the seat cushion 1 during storage in order to prevent the seat cushion 1 from being sharply kinked.
Disposal
Disposal of the appliance

Never dispose of the appliance in the normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2012/19/EU-WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your community waste facility. Please observe the currently applicable regulations. Please contact your waste disposal centre if you are in any doubt.

Warranty
The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase. The appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim, please make contact by telephone with our Customer Service Department. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.
NOTICE
The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, but not for transport damage, wearing parts or for damage to fragile components, e.g. buttons or batteries.
This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commercial use. The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and internal tampering not carried out by our authorised service branch.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty. The warranty period is not extended by repairs made under the warranty. This applies also to replaced and repaired parts.
Damages and defects extant at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking, resp. no later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs made after the lapse of the warranty period are subject to charge.
