Should any parts of this manual be difficult to understand or if you have any questions, please contact the manufacturer at the details indicated on the last page before using the product. This appliance is designed only for heating beds, and is designed to be placed on top of the mattress and under a fitted or flat sheet; it is intended for use in the home and not for professional use like for example therapeutic uses, in hospitals, etc. The appliance must only be used on top of the mattress: it must not be used on hard surfaces such as tables, slats, floors etc.14/48
The appliance must be used as indicated in these instructions. For type SCL120 (mod. SCL22):The four hooks at the corners must be firmly secured to the mattress or the bed, so that the electric blanket does not move or bend (for installation see page 7). The appliance should not be used on an adjustable bed; if it is used on an adjustable bed, make sure the blanket or cord do not get caught or stuck in the hinges (for example) and that they do not get bent. The appliance should not be used by children, unless a parent or supervisor has pre-set the controls, or if the child has been properly instructed on how to operate the controls safely. WARNING! Place the electric blanket only between the mattress and the fitted/flat sheet and not on top of people in the bed. The electric blanket must be used exclusively with the control device (cord with switch) as indicated on the appliance (see tag on the blanket). For continuous use, select the lowest heat setting “1”. When the electric blanket is not in use, place it in its bag or packaging after having allowed it to aerate in a dry environment. When storing the appliance, allow it to cool before folding; do not bend and/or15/48
deform the blanket, do not put any objects on top of it when storing. Do not use the appliance for the infirm, infants, children or people who are insensitive to heat, to avoid skin burns. This device is not designed for medical use in hospitals. Do not use on people with pacemakers or other battery-operated medical devices. Extended use at the highest temperature setting can cause skin burns. Check the appliance regularly to ensure it is in perfect condition: check for any signs of wear and tear, deterioration, or other. Should this be the case or if the appliance was used incorrectly, have it checked by an authorised service centre or a suitably qualified professional. Do not use the electric blanket on an adjustable bed: the blanket or cord could get caught or blocked, or damaged. Do not use the electric blanket if bent or badly creased. Do not use the electric blanket if any part of it is damp or wet. Do not insert pins or similar objects in the electric blanket.16/48
Do not move the electric blanket when it is on. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and older and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are properly supervised or if they have received instructions regarding the safe use of the appliance and have understood the related dangers. Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by children unless they are older than 8 years of age and are supervised. Children under three years of age should not use this appliance because of their inability to react to overheating. The device should not be used by children over the age of three, unless the controls have been pre-set by a parent or guardian, or unless the child has been properly instructed on how to operate the controls safely. Do not use the appliance outdoors or leave it exposed to atmospheric conditions (sun, rain, etc..).
Warning: when using electrical appliances, always
adhere to basic safety precautions to prevent fire hazards, electric shocks and physical injury. Do not touch the appliance with wet hands or feet.17/48
If there is a fault, immediately disconnect the power cord: check that no parts are damaged, and thereafter turn it on. If the fault persists or if in doubt, return the appliance to the manufacturer or its authorised service centre. Do not pull the power cord or the switch to unplug the appliance from the mains. Do not pull on the power cord to move the appliance. If the appliance is not being used, unplug it from the mains. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its technical assistance centre or by someone who is similarly qualified, in order to prevent any risks. For safety reasons, the electric blanket and the switch cannot be disassembled or opened up.

This symbol indicates: Must not be used by small children (0-3 years) WARNING — Certain parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Special care should be taken in the presence of children and vulnerable people. INSTALLATION After unpacking, check the integrity of the appliance; if in doubt, do not use and contact a qualified technician. The packaging materials (plastic bags, polystyrene, metal staples, etc.) must not be left within reach of children, as they constitute possible sources of danger and must be disposed of according to applicable regulations. Warning: any tags / advertising labels attached to the cord or other parts are to be removed before using the appliance. Before connecting the appliance, check that the voltage values on the plate match with those of the electric system. In the event of incompatibility between the power socket and the appliance's plug, have the plug replaced with a suitable model by a qualified professional, who should ensure that the size of the cord is suitable for the power absorbed by the device. Check that other devices with high absorption are not connected to the power line to avoid overloading and fire hazards. The use of adaptors or extensions is generally not advisable; if it is necessary to use them, they must comply with safety regulations and the total current (amps) must not be rated lower than the maximum current of the the appliance. The plug point must be accessible so as to easily remove the plug in case of an emergency. Connect the supplied cord to the electric blanket, inserting the connector (A) of the cord into plug (B). Ensure it is correctly fitted otherwise the connector does not fit.19/48
The connector must be fully inserted; to disconnect remove the connector from the plug of the electric blanket. Do not pull out by the cord. Each side of the double electric blanket heats up independently. Each side therefore has its own cord and switch, to be connected as already described. The electric blanket must be used exclusively with the control device (cord with switch) as indicated on the appliance (see tag of the blanket). The electric blanket should only be placed on top of the mattress. It must be straightened out and with the electrical connector facing the mattress. Any wrinkles or creases should be straightened out. The electric blanket must not be rolled up. Lay the bottom sheet over the electric blanket, and make up the bed as usual. Make sure the cord with switch is in place, that the switch is not placed under the pillow or blankets, but is free. Ensure that the power cord is correctly positioned and does not come into contact with hot parts or sharp edges, or become wound around the appliance itself, is not twisted and does not get caught on anything. Make sure there's no risk of tripping, to prevent people from accidentally tripping over it or being injured. Do not place the power cord under carpets, mats or rugs. This appliance is not to be used with an external timer or with a separate distance control unit. This is to prevent fire hazards should the appliance be covered or incorrectly positioned. If there is a fault or the appliance is not working correctly, switch it off and have it checked by a qualified professional. Repairs done by an unqualified person can be dangerous and cause the guarantee to become void. Installation for type SCL120 (mod. SCL22)
1. Lay the electric blanket on the mattress
(ensure that the area where the pillow lies is not covered). The electrical cord of the switch must be positioned next to the pillow and must come out from the underneath the blanket. Ensure that the plug is not plugged into the plug point, that the power cord is correctly positioned and does not come into contact with hot parts or sharp edges, nor become wound around the appliance itself, is not twisted and does not snag, in order to prevent the appliance from falling. there's no risk of tripping, to prevent people from accidentally being injured.
2. Properly secure the blanket with latches /
cords (NOT supplied), pass the centre strap under the central part of the mattress and through the central eyelet on the other side. Tie securely.
3. Pass the strap at the end under the bottom
corner of the mattress and through the lower centre eyelet, pass it under the bottom corner of the mattress and through the lower side eyelet. Tie securely.
4. Repeat the procedure in point 3 for the upper
USE Before each use, ensure that the appliance is in good working order, and that the power cord is not damaged: if the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service centre or by someone with a similar qualification in order to prevent any risks. DO NOT place the controls under the pillow or blankets when in use. It is suggested to turn the electric blanket on one hour before going to bed. The cord of the electric blanket has the switch (D) that regulates different power levels, that is, allowing it to heat the bed to the ideal temperature depending on the temperature of the room, and also according to personal preference. Using the appliance with0-1-2-3 Switch. The switch allows to select 20W of power in pos. 1, 30W in pos. 2 and 60W in pos. 3, and switches the electric blanket off when in pos. "0". For use, follow these instructions.
1. Ensure that the switch is in the "0" position (off), insert the connector at the cover
socket: lift the clip, slide the connector firmly and press the clip until it locks (see figure below) , and then plug it into the plug point.
2. Select the power setting with the switch.
3. Before going to bed, turn off the appliance by turning the switch to “0” (off), and
unplug the appliance from the plug point. Warning: To turn off the blanket completely, remove the plug from the plug point. For continuous use, select the lowest heat setting “1”.21/48
Using the appliance with timer switch. - Timer switch modP7. The switch is used to turn the electric blanket on and off with the "on / off" rocker switch on the side. You can adjust 9 different power levels by pressing the "Temp" button: press to select a different level (L-1-2- ... .7) shown on the display, or the maximum power (H) by pressing the "High" button. The timer adjusts running time from 1 to 9 hours, at one hour intervals: thereafter the electric blanket switches off. The power must have already been selected to operate the timer. To adjust the time, press the "Timer" button repeatedly to increase the time by one hour at a time. The display indicates the power selected (in red) and time (in green). Before adjusting the timer, the power must be selected. To turn off the electric blanket, the button must be in the off position. - Timer switch modP8. The switch allows to turn the electric blanket on and place it in "stand-by" mode with the On/Off button. It must be held down for a little while to turn the electric blanket on. Using the same button, you can adjust 9 different power levels by pressing the "Temp" button: press to select a different level (1-8), shown on the display, or the maximum power "H". The timer adjusts the operating time by 90 minutes or 12 hours, by pressing the "Timer" button. When the time is up, the electric blanket turns off and is in "Stand-by" mode. To completely turn off the electric blanket, remove the plug from the plug point. For use, follow these instructions.
1. Ensure that the switch is in the "0" position (off), insert the connector at the cover

2. Select the power and then the running time
3. Before going to bed, turn off the appliance by turning the switch to “0” (off), and
unplug the appliance from the plug point.
Warning: To turn off the blanket completely, remove the plug from the plug point.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning: before cleaning the appliance, turn it off, remove the plug from the plug
point and wait until it cools down. Thereafter, remove the cordfrom the blanket: press the two side flaps of the plug to disconnect the connector and then pull it out. Do not pull out by the cord. The electric cord and the switch must NOT be washed or immersed in water or other liquids: If they get wet, dry them thoroughly before using them. If in doubt, ensure a qualified professional inspects them. A special tool is required to replace the electric cord: contact an authorised service centre for repair. Do not dry clean the blanket to prevent damage and / or compromise safety.22/48
Do not use chemical solvents (benzene, trichlorethylene, or similar) to clean the blanket. The blanket is machine washable. When washing in a washing machine, unplug the power cord from the blanket, use a small amount of detergent, set it on a delicate wash programme with a maximum temperature of 40°C. After washing, hang the blanket on the clothes line, and do not use washing pegs to secure it. Allow it to air dry without placing it in the sun. Do not wring out. Do not tumble dry. Do not dry in the sun. Do not iron. Do not turn the blanket on to dry it. Do not use heaters, hair dryers or other appliances to dry it. Do not attempt to repair the electric blanket if faulty. Allow a qualified person to look at it. Check the electric blanket often and check for signs of wear or damage: if there are, do not use and consult a qualified person. If the electric cord or switch are broken, do not attempt to repair them, but rather consult a qualified person. Allowthe blanket to air out periodically. If it gets wet, dry the blanket following the instructions above. Do not put the blanket away if damp or wet. When the electric blanket is not in use, place it in its bag or packaging after having allowed it to aerate in a dry environment. When storing the appliance, allow it to cool before folding; do not bend and/or deform the blanket, do not put any objects on top of it when storing. If you decide to no longer use the appliance, it is recommended that it is made inoperative by cutting the power cord (first ensure that the appliance has been unplugged from the power supply), and ensure that any parts that could represent a risk to playing children are put away. Correctly disposing of the product as per European Directive 2011/65/UE. At the end of its lifespan, the product must not be disposed of as part of ordinary waste. It can be handed in to specific collection points set up by the local authority, or to retailers who provide such a service. Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and human health resulting from inappropriate disposal and allows the recovery of the materials of which it is made in order to obtain significant savings in energy and resources. As a reminder of the obligation to dispose of appliances separately, the product is marked with a wheeled bin symbol. Incorrect disposal of the product by the user will lead to administrative sanctions according to current law.23/48
