Symbols in these Instructions for Use Important information for your safety is specially marked. It is essential to comply with these instructions in order to avoid accidents and prevent damage to the appliance:

- Use the appliance for private and its intended purpose only. The appliance is not intended for commercial use.
- Keep the appliance away from heat, direct sunlight and moisture.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Switch the appliance off when changing accessories.
- Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
- For hygiene reasons, do not exchange this appliance with other people.
- Do not operate a damaged appliance.

PC-MPS3016_IM 11.07.17 Handling of Batteries Do not charge! Danger of explosion! Do not expose batteries to intense heat, such as sunlight, re or similar. Do not short circuit! Do not disassemble! Insert correctly!
- Batteries can leak and lose battery acid. If the appliance is not used for long periods, remove the battery.
- Batteries are not to be disposed of together with domestic wastes. Dispose of the used batteries at the relevant collection bin or at your dealer’s. - This appliance is only intended for treating hands (manicure) and feet (pedicure).
- Do not use the appliance on cracked skin or open wounds!
- Do not use on birthmarks.
- Consult your doctor rst in case of diabetes, haemophilia, or immunodeciency.
- Regularly check the results during use in order to avoid injuries. This especially applies for people with diabetes, since they are less sensitive to pain on hands and feet.
- Excessive use can cause skin irritations. In such a case, stop using the appliance until any redness has disappeared.
- Do not apply too much pressure. Guide the attachment with slight movements around the spot to be treated.
- Always work very carefully!
- Pay attention to any accumulation of heat, e. g. when ling callus on feet. This especially applies to people who are not sensitive to heat.
- Hard skin can be removed easily when dry. Do not remove the complete callus in order to maintain the natural protection of the skin. Water or skin lotions impair the progress of treatment. If necessary, briey wash your feet and then dry thoroughly. NOTE: To prevent the skin from cracking, apply a moisturising lotion after treatment. Inserting the Batteries (Batteries not Included)
1. Turn the appliance over and open the battery cover lid.
2. Insert 2 type AA / Mignon batteries into the battery compartment, observing correct
polarity. Refer to the markings in the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment cover until it locks into place.34
PC-MPS3016_IM 11.07.17 Using the Appliance NOTE: Wash your hands and feet or apply lotion to them only after treatment.
1. Turn the appliance off by putting the switch of the drive unit into the “0” position.
2. Attach the required attachment. Remove / attach the attachments by simply slid-
ing them off or onto the shaft of the motor unit.
3. Turn on the appliance. The appliance features two speed settings for both the
clockwise and the anticlockwise rotation. Start with the low speed setting.
4. Gently run the attachment past the treatment area.
5. In order to prevent injuries, check the progress of the treatment continuously at
short intervals. Cleaning CAUTION:
- Do not immerse the appliance in water: the electronic components can be damaged.
- Always switch off the appliance before cleaning. Remove the batteries.
- Clean the attachments under running warm water.
- Clean the appliance with a slightly moist cloth. Make sure that no humidity or waters seeps into the appliance!
- Dry the appliance well after cleaning with a dry and soft cloth.
- Use a disinfectant spray for hygienic cleaning.
- Clean the storage box with a slightly damp cloth. Storage Keep the appliance in a clean, dry place.35
