How to install the Tripp Lite U280CQ01 charger on the windshield?

Use the included mount. Clean the windshield surface, remove the protective film from the mount, and press it firmly onto the chosen area. Then insert the charger into the mount until it clicks into place.

Which phones are compatible with the U280CQ01 charger?

The charger is compatible with all Qi-compatible devices, including iPhone 8 and later, Samsung Galaxy S7 and later, and many others. For a full list, refer to the manual.

How do the automatic arms work?

Tap one of the touch buttons on each side of the charger to open the arms. Place your phone against the charger, the arms close automatically and charging begins.

What is the maximum charging speed?

What to do if the LEDs flash red?

The LEDs flash red (6 times) in case of foreign object detection (FOD). Remove any metallic or magnetic objects from the charger and try again.

Yes, but thick cases (over 5 mm) or those with metallic/magnetic elements may slow down or prevent charging. Remove the case if necessary.

• Phone cases thicker than 5 mm may result in slower charging speeds.
• Magnetic or metal attachments will prevent charging.

• Using the included USB-A to USB-C cable, connect the wireless charger to a USB-A power adapter.

Note: QC 2.0/3.0 power adapters are recommended.

2 Once connected to power, the LEDs surrounding the smart-touch buttons will turn green to indicate the charger is in standby mode.

1. Tap either smart-touch button located on each side of the charger to open the two adjustable arms. Place your phone on the charger. In doing so, the two arms will automatically secure the phone. The two blue LEDs located on each side of the charger will illuminate solid to indicate the phone is charging wirelessly.

Note: Foreign Body Detection (FBD) occurs when metal or magnetic objects are placed on the charger. The smart-touch button LEDs will flash blue 6x before cutting off power to the charger.

1. To remove the phone from the charger, touch either smart-touch button located on each side of the charger to open the two adjustable arms.
