USER MANUAL CJ 6280 W GRUNDIG
Please read this instruction manual thoroughly before using this appliance! Follow all safety instructions in order to avoid damages due to im- proper use! Keep the instruction manual for future reference. Should this appliance be given to a third party, then this instruc- tion manual must also be handed over.
This appliance is intended for private domestic use only. It should not be used for commercial purposes.
Do not touch any moving parts of the appliance. Do not attach or remove the parts until the device comes to a complete stop.
Check if the mains voltage on the rating label corre- sponds to your local mains supply. The only way to dis- connect the appliance from the mains is to pull out the plug.
For additional protection, this appliance should be connected to a redisual cur- rent protection switch with no more than 30 mA. Please contact an electrician for ad- vice.
Do not immerse the appli- ance, power cord or power plug in water or in other liq- uids.
Always disconnect the power plug after using the appli- ance, before assembling/ disassembling or cleaning the product, if you are leav- ing the room or if a fault oc- curs. Do not disconnect the plug by pulling on the cord.
Do not squeeze or bend the power cord and do not rub in on sharp edges in order to prevent any damage. Keep the cord away from hot sur- faces and open flames.
Do not use an extension cord with the appliance.
Never use the appliance if the power cord or the appli- ance is damaged.14 ENGLISH

Always keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and per- sons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabili- ties or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning utili- sation of the appliance in a safe way and if they under- stand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is in use. Extreme caution is advised when the appliance is being used near children and peo- ple with limited physical, sensory or mental capabili- ties.15 ENGLISH

Do not use the citrus juicer for more than 3 minutes without interruption.
Never operate or place any part of this appliance on or near hot surfaces such as a gas burner, electric burner or heated oven.
Never use the appliance with damp or wet hands.
Operate the appliance with supplied parts only.
Always use the appliance on a stable, flat, clean and dry surface.
Make sure that there is no danger that the power cord could be accidentally pulled or that someone could trip over it when the appliance is in use.

upwards gently in order to avoid dripping of juice. 8 Disconnect the plug from the wall socket. Notes
Do not put excessive pressure on the cones: if the motor starts getting louder or the speed of the motor decreases sig- nificantly, there is too much pressure being exerted on the cones.
After each three minutes pressing, let the motor cool down to room temperature.
Do not touch the sieve holder during op- eration. Always hold the lower part of the motor unit when squeezing the fruit. INFORMATION
Cleaning and care Caution
Never use petrol, solvents or abrasive cleaners, metal objects or hard brushes to clean the appliance. 1 Disconnect the appliance from the wall socket. 2 Let the appliance cool down completely. 3 Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exte- rior of the motor unit

Never put the motor unit or power cord in water or any other liquids and never hold them under running water. 4 Separate the large cone
for easier cleaning. 5 Clean the cones, sieve and sieve holder with soapy water and dry them thor- oughly. Cones
can be also cleaned in the upper shelf of the dishwasher. 6 Store the cones

Before using the appliance after cleaning, dry all parts carefully using a soft towel.
Cleaning is easier right after the usage. Storage
If you do not plan to use the appliance for a long period of time, please store it carefully.
Make sure that the appliance is un- plugged and completely dry.
Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
Store it in a cool, dry place.
