Be careful with your operations. With a dangerous voltage you can suffer a dangerous electric shock when touching the wires!
This device has left our premises in absolutely perfect condition. In order to maintain this condition and to ensure a safe operation, it is absolutely necessary for the user to follow the safety instructions and warning notes written in this user manual.
Important:
Damages caused by the disregard of this user manual are not subject to warranty. The dealer will not accept liability for any resulting defects or problems.
Never hit the lighting chain with a hammer or other tools, as this may lead to damaged LEDs.
Never operate the device in the packaging or wrapped in order to avoid heating-up.
Never let the power-cord come into contact with other cables! Handle the power-cord and all connections with the mains with particular caution!
Make sure that the available voltage is not higher than stated on the technical sticker.
Make sure that the power-cord is never crimped or damaged by sharp edges. Check the device and the power-cord from time to time.
This device falls under protection-class II and features a protective insulation.
Always disconnect from the mains, when the device is not in use or before cleaning it. Only handle the power-cord by the plug. Never pull out the plug by tugging the power-cord.
If there are reasons for supposing that risk-free operation is no longer possible, the lighting chain must be deactivated and protected against accidental operation. Risk-free operation can no longer be supposed when the lighting chain
- no longer functions
- is visibly damaged
- has been stored long-term under adverse conditions, or
- has been exposed to stress during transport.
Please consider that damages caused by manual modifications to the device are not subject to warranty.

OPERATING DETERMINATIONS
This device is a lighting chain for creating decorative effects. This product is only allowed to be operated with an alternating voltage of 230V , 50Hz .
The lighting chain is protected against splashing water (protection-degree IP44) and can therefore be used inside and outside.
Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device.
The ambient temperature must always be between -5^ and +45^ . Keep away from direct insulation (particularly in cars) and heaters.
This device must only be operated in an altitude between -20 and 2000 m over NN.
Never use the device during thunderstorms. Over voltage could destroy the device. Always disconnect the device during thunderstorms.
Operate the device only after having familiarized with its functions. Do not permit operation by persons not qualified for operating the device. Most damages are the result of unprofessional operation!
Please use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
Please consider that unauthorized modifications on the device are forbidden due to safety reasons!

If this device will be operated in any way different to the one described in this manual, the product may suffer damages and the guarantee becomes void. Furthermore, any other operation may lead to dangers like short-circuit, burns, electric shock, etc.
INSTALLATION
Unpack the lighting chain.
Unroll the tube, connect it with the mains and wait some minutes until it has warmed up. Disconnect from mains and start with the installation.
Only cut the tube where marked. The tube can be cut after every 72 LEDs (2 m distance).
The tube is water-proof (IP 44). Nevertheless, you have to insulate the connectors, the power-connector and the end cap with some silicone for outdoor-use.
In order to design the desired patterns, draw the form onto the surface and attach the mounting-clips. For free forms, you can use a stable wire in order to bring the tube into the desired form. Use tie straps in order to connect the tube with the wire. You can fix the tie straps with the suction cups.
The minimum bending radius is 3cm
Bend the tube to the left side and cut off surplus wires. Bend the tube to the right side and cut off surplus wires.
How to the connect the power-connector:
First attach the screw plug onto the tube. Attach the power-connector to the cable-ends then. Fix the screw plug.
How to connect several tubes:
Disconnect from mains!
Make sure that you only connect 230 V-versions.
The maximum length must not exceed 44m
Make sure that you always connect the connectors in the right way. First attach the screw plug onto the tube. Attach the connector onto the cable-ends then. Fix the screw plug. Connect the sockets with one another and fix the screw plug. Connect the next tube like described above.
The last tube has to be terminated with an end cap. Please make sure that you stick the end cap at the tube.
How to connect the tube to the power supply:
Connect the power-connector to the mains. Make sure that the outlet is in a dry area.
How to connect a controller:
Connect the power cord with your controller.
After the installation, the power supply cable, the plug and the connector must be free of any tractive forces and rotary forces.
The lighting chain must never be covered with any object.
DANGER TO LIFE! The electric connection must only be carried out by a qualified electrician!
OPERATION
After you connected the lighting chain to the mains, the lamps start burning.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
DANGER TO LIFE! Disconnect from mains before starting maintenance operation!
We recommend a frequent cleaning of the device. Please use a moist, lint-free cloth. Never use alcohol or solvents!
There are no serviceable parts inside the device. If defective, please dispose of the unusable lighting chain in accordance with the current legal regulations.
