If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service department or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid danger. Read these instructions carefully before using this appliance for the first time and keep them for future use. This appliance may be used by children at least 8 years of age and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or without experience or knowledge, if they are properly supervised or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and the risks involved have been identified. Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be carried out by children without supervision. Keep the appliance and its cable out of the reach of children under 8 years of age. GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

- This product is designed for outdoor use. The appliance must be covered and protected from the weather. - WARNING: There is a risk of electric shock if water from a garden hose is directed at the insect killer. - Do not place this appliance near a source of heat, gas, explosive dust or near flammable vapours. - When not in use, always unplug the adapter from the socket and remove the cable from the machine. - Keep this appliance out of the reach of children and pets. - Do not use the unit if the power cord of the plug is damaged. - Use only the cable supplied with this unit. - When using extension cords, keep the socket outlet dry and avoid damaging the cable. -Before connecting the appliance, check that the mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating label. DETAILED PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

USE - Remove the appliance from its packaging. - Connect the unit to the mains. - If you wish to use the appliance only at night, slide the light sensor switch outwards, leaving the sensor uncovered. - If you wish to use the device during the day, slide the light sensor switch towards the centre, covering the sensor. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always unplug the appliance from the socket before starting any cleaning operation. Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the outside of the unit. Clean the insect container once a week or when it is full. To do this, turn the container counterclockwise as indicated by the arrow on the lock. To replace the insect container, fix it in its original position and turn it slightly clockwise until the lock is closed. If the fan is obstructed, remove the insect container and clean the fan with a brush. Do not use chemical or abrasive products such as metal scourers, which could damage the surface of the unit.
