How to adjust the range of the Aqua Joe AJOMS18TRB oscillating sprinkler?

Use the sliding tabs for jet range (Fig. 1). Spread them apart for a large area (Fig. 2), bring them together for a small area (Fig. 3), or move both to the left (Fig. 4) or right (Fig. 5) to water one side.

How to adjust the sprinkling width?

Use the sprinkling width adjusters (Fig. 6). The system includes 6 individually adjustable nozzles to go from 18 to 12 active nozzles (see Fig. 7).

How to clean the sprinkler if it no longer rotates or sprays poorly?

Remove the inlet filter and rinse it (Fig. 10). Remove the cleaning pin (Fig. 11). Rinse the sprinkler under a faucet while gently turning the tube (Fig. 12). Use the pin to unclog the nozzles (Fig. 13). Put the filter and pin back in place.

What type of hose to use with the Aqua Joe AJOMS18TRB?

The sprinkler is compatible with a standard garden hose. Simply screw it onto the hose end (Fig. 9).

What is the best time to water?

Water preferably in the morning to reduce evaporation. Water generously but infrequently to encourage deep roots. Avoid runoff.

How to store the sprinkler in winter?

After use, drain the water from the sprinkler. Never let water freeze inside. Store it in a dry, frost-free place.

Operation

1. Use range sliding tabs to select desired position and take advantage of the sprinkler's adjustable range control (Fig.1).

For full coverage, spread the tabs apart (Fig. 2). For a narrower range, bring the tabs closer together (Fig. 3). Bring both tabs fully to either the left (Fig. 4) or the right (Fig. 5) for coverage on either side.

1. Use spray range adjusters to select desired position and take advantage of the sprinkler's adjustable width control (Fig. 6). This sprinkler system has 6 individually adjustable nozzles to tailor width from 18 to 12 nozzles. Refer to (Fig. 7) to see the different options.

1. Increase or decrease water flow with the water flow knob (Fig. 8).

Connecting to the Garden Hose

Attach your garden hose to the hose-end connector. (Fig. 9).

Watering Tips

Water only when necessary, preferably in the morning to minimize water loss through evaporation. To promote deep root growth, water deeply but as infrequently as possible. Watch water application to avoid water run-off.

Maintenance + Care

Follow the steps below if the sprinkler stops working or exhibits poor water quality due to debris or dirt build-up.

1. Remove the inlet filter from the hose-end of the oscillator and run under water (Fig. 10).

1. Remove the cleaning pin from the opposite end of the oscillator (Fig. 11).

1. To flush, connect the oscillator to a spigot. Turn on the faucet and while the water continues running, spin the tube gently back and forth for few minutes. Then screw the inlet filter firmly back in place (Fig. 12)

1. Use the provided cleaning pin to clear any clogs from the spray nozzles. Fit cleaning pin firmly back in place before using the sprinkler (Fig. 13).

Storage

Drain the sprinkler after use. DO NOT allow water to freeze in the sprinkler.
