How to turn on the Optoma 5861RK interactive display?

Press the Power button located at the bottom right of the screen or the Power button on the remote control. The LED indicator will turn blue to show the device is ready.

How to connect a computer to the display?

Use an HDMI or VGA cable to connect your computer to the corresponding ports on the back of the display. To use the touch function, also connect a USB cable between the TOUCH port on the display and a USB port on the computer.

How to use the touch screen?

The touch screen is compatible with fingers and the included stylus. You can tap, swipe, and pinch to zoom. For advanced functions like annotation, remove the stylus from its holster or use the icon in the side toolbar.

How to clean the screen?

Unplug the device. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the screen. Never use water, spray cleaner, or abrasive products.

How to install the wall mount?

Use the Optoma wall mount kit (sold separately). Attach the brackets to the back of the display with the provided screws, then fix the mount to the concrete wall with the anchors and screws. Tighten without over-tightening. Use a qualified technician.

How to use the remote control?

Insert two AAA batteries, observing polarity. Point the remote control at the IR receiver on the display (angle ±30°, max distance 8 m). The keys allow navigation, volume adjustment, menu access, etc.

How to adjust the volume?

Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the Settings menu, then adjust the volume bar. You can also use the VOL+ and VOL- buttons on the remote control.

How to lock the screen?

Open the Screen Lock app from the app list. If no password is set, follow the instructions to create one (4-digit PIN). Once configured, the screen will lock after standby.

How to update the software?

In Advanced Settings > System > Update, choose OTA (via Internet) or USB. For OTA, enable automatic check. For USB, copy the update file (extracted) to a FAT32 formatted USB drive, plug it in, then start the update.

What to do if the screen is unresponsive?

Check the power and signal connections. Ensure the correct input source is selected. If the touch screen does not respond, clean the screen and avoid direct sunlight. For the remote control, replace the batteries. If the problem persists, contact Optoma support.
