How to use the BFCJ300 juicer?

Place the bowl on the motor unit, insert filters A and B, then the small cone. Plug in the appliance, cut a citrus fruit in half and press lightly on the cone. Operation is automatic.

Can I use the large cone?

Yes, if the fruits are large. The large cone locks onto the two tabs of the small cone.

How to clean the appliance?

Unplug and remove the cone and filters. Wash all parts in hot soapy water. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit.

Is the bowl dishwasher safe?

No, the bowl is not dishwasher safe. Wash it by hand.

What to do if the appliance does not work?

Check the outlet, cord, and that the bowl is properly locked. If the problem persists, contact an authorized repairer.

How long can I use the appliance continuously?

Do not use for more than 3 consecutive operations. Let it cool for 15 seconds between each operation.

Is the appliance safe for children?

Children over 8 years old may use it under supervision. Do not let children play with the appliance. Keep it out of reach of children under 8.

Using your appliance

• Always take care when using the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
- Do not operate the appliance if your hands are wet. Do not operate the appliance if you are barefoot.

• Guide the power supply cord neatly so it does not hang over the edge of a worktop and cannot be caught accidentally or tripped over.
• Never pull the power supply cord to disconnect the plug from the socket. Keep the power supply cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
• If the power supply cord is damaged during use, disconnect the appliance from the power supply immediately. Do not touch the power supply cord before disconnecting from the power supply.
• Disconnect the appliance from the power supply when not in use and before cleaning.
• Ensure that long hair is tied back to avoid entanglement.
• Do not operate this equipment while wearing loose clothing

Safety of others

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

After use

• Switch off, remove the plug from the socket and let the appliance cool down before leaving it unattended and before changing, cleaning or inspecting any parts of the appliance.

• Before use, check the appliance for damaged or defective parts. Check for breakage of parts, damage to switches and any other conditions that may affect its operation.

Warning! Allow appliance to rest at least 15 seconds between

operations. Do not use continuously for more than 3 operations.

Use

Warning! Do not exceed the maximum capacity of the cup.

Making juice

• Place the Cup (6) on the Motor Unit (8). Turn it clockwise to lock into position (Fig.A).
• Place Filter A (4) onto Filter B (5). Rotate left and right to position it correctly in the Cup (6) (Fig. A).
• Put Small cone (3) on the shaft of the Motor Unit (8). (Fig.2).
• Plug in the Appliance.
• Cut the Orange into 2 pieces.
• Press 1 section of Orange gently onto the Cone. The citrus press will begin operating automatically.

ENGLISH

• If the Orange is too large, use the Large Cone. Lock the 2 gaps on the Large Cone over the 2 wings on the Small Cone.
• Enjoy your Juice.

Cleaning and maintenance

Warning! Before cleaning and maintenance, switch the appliance off and remove the plug from the socket.

• When finished using, remove the Cone, Filter A and Filter B (Fig D - E).
• Wash all items thoroughly in hot soapy water (Fig. F) dry all parts with a clean cloth and store them in box.
• Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.

Note: The carafe is not dishwasher proof.

Warning! Do not immerse the Motor Unit in water. Clean with damp

cloth.

Warning! Do not immerse unit, cord or plug in any liquid.
