Warnings

Keep handy the guarantee, receipt of payment and these instructions for future use and reference.

After removing the packaging, check the appliance for any signs of damage.

In case of visible damage, do not use it and contact a qualified technician.

Keep all parts of the packaging out of the reach of children.

The appliance is not a toy: it is an electrical appliance and must be treated with the necessary caution.

The use of any electrical appliance requires to respect basic rules, namely:

• Never touch the appliance with wet or humid hands.

This appliance must not be used by individuals (including children) with diminished physical, sensory or mental abilities or who lack the experience or knowledge on how to operate it unless they are supervised or have been instructed on the use of the appliance by someone who is responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to make sure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Do not leave the appliance exposed to weathering (rain, sun).

• Do not subject it to rough handling.

Attention: keep dry the appliance.

In case of a breakdown or malfunctioning of the appliance, do not attempt to repair it, but take it to a service centre approved by the manufacturer.

For safety reasons, the appliance should never be opened.

The appliance has been designed and manufactured to operate as nose and ears trimmer for domestic use. Any other use is considered inappropriate and dangerous.

Instructions for use GB

Insert batteries following the required specifications.
Move the switch in the direction shown in the preceding picture.
Carefully and gently use the device to trim the hair in your nostrils or ears; do not push it too deeply or hard. Clean after use.

Maintenance

This appliance does not require special maintenance. Clean it regularly.

Before cleaning, make sure the appliance is switched off. To clean the blade, rotate the base unit anticlockwise and pull it upwards.

Remove the metal shield of the blade unit and clean off hairs (blow them away or use a small soft-bristle brush).

Avoid bending the cutting blade.

After cleaning the blade unit, replace it and close the base unit by rotating it clockwise (there is an arrow that indicates the closing direction).

Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the appliance surface.

Do not use abrasive products or chemical solvents.

DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER.

Battery Replacement.

In order to remove the cover of the battery seat, rotate it in anticlockwise sense and pull, replace the battery with another one featuring the same specifications, and replace the cap correctly.

If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period of time, remove the batteries. If the batteries are leaking, be careful not to touch the acid which has leaked out.

If you come into contact with the acid, wash your hands thoroughly.

Be careful that the acid does not come into contact with the eyes and that it is not ingested.

Remove the batteries from the appliance before its disposal.

The batteries must be disposed of in the appropriate containers.

The guarantee is valid for 24 months.

This guarantee applies only if it has been duly filled in and is submitted with the receipt showing the date of purchase.

The guarantee covers the replacement or repair of parts making up the appliance which were faulty at source due to manufacturing faults.

After the guarantee has expired, the appliance will be repaired against payment.

The manufacturer declines any responsibility for damage to persons, animals or property due to misuse of the appliance and failure to observe the directions contained in the instructions.

Limits

All rights under this guarantee and any responsibility on our part will be avoided if the appliance has been:

• mishandled by unauthorized persons

• improperly used, stored or transported.

The guarantee does not cover damage to the outward appearance or any other that does not prevent regular operation.

If any faults should be found despite the care taken in selecting the materials and in creating the product, or if any information or advice are required, please contact your local dealer.

The symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin on the equipment or on its packaging indicates that the product must be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its service life.

The user must therefore take the dismissed equipment to suitable separate collection centres for electrical and electronic waste, or return it to the dealer in case they purchase a new device of equivalent type, at a one-to-one-ratio.

Suitable segregated collection of the equipment for subsequent recycling, treatment or environmentally-friendly disposal helps prevent damage to the environment and to human health, and encourages the re-use and/or recycling of the materials that make up the equipment.

Abusive disposal of the product by the user shall result in the application of administrative fines in accordance with the laws in force.
