Important: Do not open the lid during the boiling process.

Make sure you do not exceed the internal maximum filling level mark.

Fill the unit so that the water level is definitely between the minimum and maximum indicator line.

  • As soon as boiling stops, the unit automatically shuts off.

The indicator light extinguishes.

Clean the exterior of the unit with a soft, moist cloth. If heavily soiled, you can use a mild detergent.

DECALCIFYING

Depending on the hardness degree of the water, lime scale can build up over time on the bottom and on the interior wall of the stainless steel tank. The harder the water, the faster the lime scale builds up. That is harmless but it can impair the performance of the unit.

For that reason, we recommend regularly decalcifying the unit as follows

  • Fill the unit three-quarters full with water.
  • Boil it.

  • After the unit has shut itself off, fill the unit additionally with distilled white vinegar up to the MAX mark.

Important: Never boil this mixture!

  • Let the mixture stand overnight.
  • Empty the unit and rinse it out several times with clear water.
