How to install the Liv Wall light on a 12 V system?

Remove the wall plate, mark the holes and cable path. Fix the plate, pass the connector, then screw on the fitting. Connect the Easy-Lock connector to the main cable following the steps in the manual.

Can I use the Liv Wall directly on 230 V?

No, the light is designed for 12 V. For 100-240 V supply, you must use an in-lite built-in transformer (sold separately) and call a certified installer.

What if the light does not turn on?

Check that the Easy-Lock connector is properly connected to the main cable and that the mini-connector is fully inserted. Make sure the contacts are not damaged. Repeat the connection steps.

Can the LED be replaced?

The LED light source is integrated and has a lifespan of approximately 50,000 hours. In case of failure, contact your dealer. Replacement is not described in the manual.

How to maintain the Liv Wall light?

Clean the fitting at least once a year with a clean cloth and warm water. Always disconnect power before maintenance.

What tools are supplied with the light?

The kit includes: 2 screws, 2 wall plugs, an Easy-Lock connector and a Torx key for fixing.

Can I use accessories from other brands with this light?

Using products other than in-lite brand voids the warranty. Use exclusively in-lite components for the system.

What type of cable to use for 12 V installation?

Use a 12 V low voltage cable suitable for the in-lite system. Never combine the cable with a 100-240 V source.

Where to place the square (A) when marking on the wall?

Place the square (A) so that there is a through hole of at least 13 mm diameter for the cable to pass through. See the diagram step 1 of the manual.

Is the light suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, the wall fitting is designed for outdoor use, particularly for entrance doors, gardens, terraces, etc. Follow the installation instructions to ensure waterproofness.

Please read the following instructions before installing. You are advised to keep these installation instructions in a safe place.

Although a 12 V system is safe, we advise you to have a qualified electrician check the installation.

Use

Wall-mounted light fixture for installation near the front or back door, shed or fence, etc.

Lamp

The fixture is equipped with a high-quality LED lamp. These lamps have a long life (about 50,000 hours) and a high light output and their power consumption and the heat produced are extremely low.

Important!

Never connect the low-voltage cable directly to a 100-240 V power source. It is only suitable for use in combination with a 12 V low-voltage system. This product should only be used within the in-lite system. Use of products other than those made by in-lite will invalidate the warranty.

Connecting the fixture to 12 V

The already installed lamp means the fixture is immediately ready for use. Therefore you do not need to install the lamp first.

Step 1

Remove the wall plate from the fixture by loosening the two Torx screws. Mark the position of the two attachment holes and the square in the wall plate on the wall. Make a hole for the cable of at least 13 mm at the location of the square (A). Attach the wall plate to the surface using the screws supplied and plugs if necessary. (Fig. 1)

Step 2

Feed the connector for the fixture through the hole (A), place the fitting over the wall plate and fix the fitting in place by tightening the two Torx screws. (Fig. 2)

Step 3

Join the Easy-Lock connector to the main cable. (Fig. 3)

a. Clamp the cable duct on top of the main cable.
b. Place the cable duct (with the cable at the bottom) in the Easy-Lock connector.
c. Tighten the threaded cap on the Easy-Lock connector. This will cause the contacts to be pushed through the insulation on the cable. In tightening the cap, a little gel is applied to the contacts in the Easy-Lock connector. This serves to protect the contacts against moisture. A little gel may possibly come out of the Easy-Lock connector: so after installation (and/or before a meal), wash your hands with soap and water, and avoid the gel coming into contact with your eyes.

Step 4

Connect the main cable to the fixture by connecting the mini-connector. (Fig. 4)

If the lamp does not work correctly, check that the Easy-Lock connector is properly connected to the main cable. Do the same for the mini-connector. Repeat steps 3 and 4. When the fixture is connected to the main cable also check that the contacts of the Easy-Lock connector are not bent. If you have any problems, contact your dealer.

General maintenance advice

We advise wiping the fixture down at least once a year using a clean cloth and warm water.

Connecting the fixture to 100-240 V

If you want to connect the fixture to a 100-240V power source, you must use the separately available internal transformer. Your dealer can advise you about this. The appliance should only be connected to a 100-240V power source by an authorised installer.

Step 1

Remove the wall plate from the fixture by loosening the two Torx screws. Mark the position of the two attachment holes and the square in the wall plate on the wall. Make a hole for the cable of at least 13 mm at the location of the square (A). Attach the wall plate to the surface using the screws supplied and plugs if necessary. (Fig. 1)

Step 2

Remove the bottom of the fixture by loosening the two socket head screws. Position the transformer in the holder and then fix it in place using the supplied screw. (Fig. 1a)

Step 3

Connect the internal transformer to the fixture by connecting the mini-connector. (Fig. 4)

Step 4

Run the 100-240V cable through the opening in the housing. Reattach the bottom of the fixture to the housing by tightening the two socket head screws.

Step 5

Thread the 100-240V power cable of the internal transformer through the hole (A), place the fixture over the wall plate and fix the fixture in place by tightening the two Torx screws. (Fig. 2)

Step 6

The appliance should only be connected to a 100-240V power source by an authorised installer. See the manual that accompanies the internal transformer.

General maintenance advice

We advise wiping the fixture down at least once a year using a clean cloth and warm water.
