How to turn the projector on and off?

Plug in the power cord. Press the Power On/Off button (⏻) on the control panel or remote. To turn off, press once, then confirm by pressing again within 15 seconds. The projector cools for approximately 10 seconds before entering standby mode.

How to select the input source?

Press the Source button on the control panel or remote to cycle through inputs (HDMI, VGA, etc.). You can also use the numeric keys (HDMI=4, VGA=5, Video=6) on the remote.

How to adjust focus and zoom?

Turn the focus ring for sharpness, and the zoom lever to adjust image size. Use the lens shift button to move the image vertically.

How to activate 3D mode?

Ensure the source is outputting a 120 Hz signal. In the OSD menu, go to Display > Three Dimensions and select DLP Link or IR depending on your glasses. Wear compatible 3D glasses.

How to clean or replace the dust filter?

Turn off and unplug the projector. Pull the filter compartment downward to remove it. Clean or replace the filter. Reinsert. It is recommended to clean the filter every 3 months.

How to replace the lamp?

Turn off the projector and wait 30 minutes for cooling. Unplug the power. Remove the top cover (2 screws), unscrew the lamp module, carefully remove it. Install the new lamp, reassemble, then reset the counter in the menu Settings > Lamp Settings > Lamp Reset.

How to connect the projector to a network?

Plug an RJ-45 cable into the projectors RJ-45 port. In the OSD menu, go to Network > LAN. Enable DHCP for automatic IP assignment, or manually enter IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS. You can then control the projector via a web browser.

What to do if the image is blurry?

Adjust the focus ring on the lens. Check the throw distance (refer to the table on pages 55-57). Clean the lens with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure the source resolution is compatible.

How to use the remote control?

Insert two AAA batteries into the remote. Point it at the front or top IR sensor of the projector (max distance 7 m, angle ±30°). Some buttons have secondary functions (e.g., numbers to directly select a source).

How to mount the projector on the ceiling?

Use a recommended Optoma ceiling mount kit. The fixing screws should be M4 type with a minimum length of 10 mm. Refer to the dimension diagram on page 58 for positioning. Any damage due to improper installation voids the warranty.
