SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

English - 3ELECTRICAL CONNECTION This appliance should be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord of this appliance is equipped with a three-prong plug which mates with standard three prong wall outlets to minimize the possibility of electrical shock. Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the third ground prong from the power cord supplied. For personal safety, this appliance must be properly grounded. This appliance requires a standard 115/120 Volt AC ~/60Hz electrical ground outlet with three-prong. Have the wall outlet and circuit checked by a qualified electrician to make sure the outlet is properly grounded. When a standard 2-prong wall outlet is encountered, it is your responsibility and obligation to have it replaced with a properly grounded 3-prong wall outlet. The cord should be secured behind the appliance and not left exposed or dangling to prevent accidental injury. The appliance should always be plugged into its own individual electrical outlet which has a voltage rating that matches the rating label on the appliance. This provides the best performance and also prevent overloading house wiring circuits that could cause a fire hazard from overheated. Never unplug the appliance by pulling the power cord. Always grip the plug firmly and pull straight out from the receptacle. Repair or replace immediately all power cords that have become frayed or otherwise damaged. Do not use a cord that shows cracks or abrasion damage along its length or at either end. When moving the appliance, be careful not to damage the power cord. EXTENSION CORD Because of potential safety hazards under certain conditions, it is strongly recommended that you do not use an extension cord with this appliance. However, if you must use an extension cord it is absolutely necessary that it be a UL/CUL- Listed, 3-wire grounding type appliance extension cord having a grounding type plug and outlet and that the electrical rating of the cord be 115 volts and at least 10 amperes. SURGE PROTECTOR Most electrical appliances use a series of electric control boards to operate. These boards are very susceptible to power surges and could be damaged or destroyed. If the appliance is going to be used in an area or if your city / country is prone to power surges / outages; it is suggested that you use a power surge protector for all electrical devices / appliances you use. The surge protector that you select must have a surge block high enough to protect the appliance it is connected to. If you have any questions regarding the type and size of surge protector needed contact a licensed electrician in your area. Damages due to power surges are not considered a manufacturer covered defect and will void your product warranty. WARNING Improper use of the grounded plug can result in the risk of electrical shock. If the power cord is damaged, submit a warranty service request via our website at: https://avanti.thelegacycompanies.com/support/tickets/new English - 4WARNING To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury when using your refrigerator-freezer, follow these basic precautions:

  • Never allow children to operate, play with, or crawl inside the refrigerator- freezer.

To level the unit, adjust the leveling legs at the bottom. Allow 5 inches of clearance at the back and sides and up to 12” on top of the unit to ensure proper air circulation for cooling the compressor and condenser. Position the unit away from direct sunlight and heat sources such as stoves, heaters, and radiators. Direct sunlight may affect the exterior finish, while heat sources can increase energy consumption. Extremely cold ambient temperatures may also impact performance. Avoid placing the unit in areas with excessive moisture. Plug the unit into a properly installed, grounded wall outlet. Do not, under any circumstances, cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord. For any questions regarding power or grounding, consult a certified electrician or an authorized service center. Before using the refrigerator, remove all packaging materials, including the base cushion, foam cushion inside the refrigerator, adhesive tape, etc., and tear off the protective film on the door body and refrigerator.
  • Keep away from heat sources and avoid direct sunlight.
  • Do not place in damp or watery places to prevent rust or weaken insulation effect.
  • Do not spray or wash the refrigerator with water, and do not place it in a place where it is damp and easy to splash water, so as not to affect the electrical insulation performance of refrigerator products. English - 10BEFORE FIRST USE
  • After moving the refrigerator, let it sit upright for at least two hours before plugging it in. Turning it on too soon may cause performance issues or damage.
  • Place the refrigerator in a well-ventilated place indoors, and the ground is flat and firm (if there is any instability, you can rotate the leveling foot to the left or right for leveling).
  • This refrigerator is designed as a freestanding device and is not meant to be used as a built-in refrigerator/freezer. Installing this product inside a cabinet or walled enclosure will reduce product performance and life, and void product warranty. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  • Before adding food, run the refrigerator for 2–3 hours to ensure proper cooling. In hot weather, allow it to run for at least 4 hours before stocking it with fresh or frozen items.
  • If the power is interrupted or the refrigerator is unplugged for cleaning, wait at least five minutes before reconnecting it to prevent potential compressor damage from frequent restarts. English - 11NOTICE FOR USE
  • Do not attempt to dismantle or modify the refrigerator without authorization. Altering the refrigeration system is prohibited. Maintenance should only be performed by qualified professionals.
  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a certified professional or the seller’s maintenance department to prevent safety hazards.
  • Be cautious of the small gaps between the freezer door and refrigerator door, as well as between each door and the refrigerator body. Avoid placing your fingers in these areas to prevent injury. When opening and closing the refrigerator door, use gentle force to prevent items from falling.
  • Once the refrigerator is running, avoid using wet hands to retrieve food or containers from the freezer, especially metal containers, to prevent frostbite.
  • Do not allow children to climb on or enter the refrigerator, as this can lead to entrapment and suffocation. Ensure electrical components are secure to prevent potential harm to children.
  • Do not place heavy objects on top of the refrigerator. They may fall when the door is opened or closed, potentially causing injury or damage. UnChanged NOTE ON DOOR REOPENING RESISTANCE: After opening and closing the upright freezer door, you may notice it is temporarily difficult to reopen. This happens because warm air enters the unit and quickly cools, creating a temporary vacuum. The door should open normally again after 10 to 15 seconds. This is a normal function of the appliance. Tip: Gently pulling on the door handle while pressing on the edge of the door seal with your fingers can help release the pressure more quickly. English - 12PROPER USE OF REFRIGERATOR ADJUSTMENT STEPS:

1. To raise the refrigerator, turn the leveling foot clockwise.

2. To lower the refrigerator, turn the leveling foot counterclockwise.

3. Adjust both leveling feet as needed until the refrigerator is stable and level.
