Pure water is not allowed to be used on this unit, spring water is recommended. Only use drinking water without additives! additives remain in the water circuit and contaminate the appliance.
26. Opening the door for long periods can cause a
significant increase of the temperature in the compartments of the appliance.
27. Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact
with food and accessible drainage systems.
28. Clean water tanks if they have not been used for
48 h; flush the water system connected to a water supply if water has not been drawn for 5 days.
29. If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long
periods, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the door open to prevent mould developing within the appliance.

PREPARATION BEFORE USE. Remove all packing material and carefully check your ice maker to ensure it is in good condition and that there is no damage to the ice maker or power cord and plug. When moving the machine, the angle of inclination must not exceed 45°. Do not turn the ice maker upside down. This could damage the compressor. IMPORTANT: Please observe a waiting period of 6 hours before initial operation and after moving the appliance for the refrigerant to settle; otherwise the compressor can be damaged. Use of the device Open the lid and remove the ice tray. Fill the reservoir with drinking water (preferably spring water) at the maximum level indicated in the reservoir and then replace the ice basket. Plug in your ice maker and press the on-off button (button 4 figure 3). The power light illuminates ( button 3 figure 3 ice production). An ice production cycle lasts approximately 6 to 13 minutes. The ice maker stops when the ice basket is full and a light illuminates to indicate that it is full (button 2 figure 3). You can remove the ice cubes with the scoop provided (Figure 1). - If the water pump is unable to inject water into the unit, the ice machine will automatically stop and the light on button 1 figure 3 (adding water) will illuminate. Press the on-off button to stop the unit. Fill the water tank to the maximum level mark and press back on. Allow the coolant inside the compressor to stabilize for at least 3 minutes before restarting.
- Direct sunlight or reflection of sunlight can cause the infrared sensor to malfunction. If the device does not stop even if ice blocks the sensor, move the device to a place away from sunlight.
- Change tank water every 24 hours to ensure proper hygiene.
- If not in use, drain all water and dry the tank. Cleaning and maintenance Unplug the appliance. Remove the ice basket and ice scoop. Clean the inside with diluted detergent, warm water and a soft cloth. Rinse it with water and drain it by unplugging the water drain cap on the front of the appliance (Figure 2). Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. Correct disposal of the unit (Electrical and Electronic Equipment). (Applicable in the European Union and the rest of Europe that have adopted separate collection systems countries). The European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal household waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The symbol of the crossed out dustbin is marked on all products to remind the obligations of separate collection. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their product.
