Use the supplied LPKTVDR conversion kit. Follow these steps: remove the grates and burner heads, reverse the regulator piston (marked NAT or PL), replace the orifices with those from the kit. For the French top, remove the screws and replace the orifice under the flange. Apply adhesive tape in the socket to prevent losing the orifices. Check for leaks with soapy water.

Where is the rating plate?

The rating plate is located under the control panel. After conversion, affix the provided conversion label next to it.

CAUTION

Be sure the electric power is turned off at the breaker box while the unit is being converted.

Regulator Conversion

• Remove hex nut from top of regulator.
• Unsnap plastic plunger from hex nut.
• Reverse plunger and reinstall onto hex nut by pressing firmly.

NOTE: Plunger is marked "NAT" or "LP". Converted fuel type will be shown on the lower portion of plunger.

Remove grates, surface burner caps and frenchtop (if applicable)

-Locate appropriate orificce
-Remove screw (Item #1) fl at-head screwdriver.
- Lay the burner flange to side - do not disconnect the igniter wire. (Item #2).
-Use a nut driver to remove orificce (ltem #3).
-Replace with correct orifice - refer to next page.

Tech tip: Tape can be applied to the inside of the socket to assist in the removal of the surface burner orifices. This can prevent the orifices from falling into the range during removal.

• After replacing the orifice, replace Item#2 burner fl ange.
  -Reinstall screw and reverse procedure to reassemble.

NOTE: For proper placement of the burner head, rotate until burner head seats into groove.

Frenchtop Burner Conversion

-Remove frenchtop plate.
-Remove screws around burner.
-Remove screws holding burner box.
-Slide burner box forward and lift out.
-Orifice is located under orifice bracket, attached to tubing.
-Use a nut driver to remove orifi ce.
