3 Important usage and safety guidelines for this device

• Do not fill water above 40^ in the tank of the humidifier. It may cause discolouration or deformation.
  The water tank is intended exclusively for water. It is not advisable to use other liquids in the water tank!
• The plug should be disconnected from the socket if the device is not being used.
• Disconnect the plug before cleaning the device.
• Do not operate the device without liquid.
• Use it only at normal room temperature. If the room temperature is too high or too low, it may damage the humidifier.

5 Selecting the right location

Selecting the right location is important for the humidifier to work properly. Ensure that the humidifier is placed at a distance of at least 1.5m from the ceiling and has a clearance of at least 50~cm on the sides and a clearance of 50~cm from the ground. Never place the humidifier next to furniture or other objects, which are sensitive to moisture. Adjust the intensity of the humidifier depending on the size of your room.

6 Initial use

1. Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Place the humidifier before initial use on a flat and even surface.
2. Remove the water tank from the device. Open the water tank by unscrewing the water tank cover.
3. Fill the tank with fresh clear water. Ensure that the water temperature is not above 40^ . Also, ensure that the tank is not overfilled.
4. Then screw the water tank cover back onto the tank properly.
5. Afterwards, put the water tank back onto the base unit. Ensure that the tank is firmly seated and does not wobble.
6. Then, the cover should be placed with the steam outlet on the top of the tank.
7. Now, the supplied power adapter can be plugged to a properly connected power socket and diffuser. The device is now ready to be used. Press the "POWER" button to start. The quantity of steam released can be set individually with this button. Press the "POWER" button again. A green light indicates that the first power level is active. As soon as the LED lights up blue, the second level is active.

7 Key function and signal LEDs

A signal LED is located in the base unit. If it lights up red, then the automatic shutdown is active. In this case, refill the water tank or check whether the tank was placed properly onto the base unit.

The air humidification has two levels for the steam generation. Press the "POWER" button on the front side of the device to switch it on. The LED light turns green (level 1). Press this button again to activate the second power level. The signal LED turns blue as soon as this is activated.

If the brightness of the LEDs is too high, you can dim it by keeping the "POWER" key pressed.

8 Cleaning and Maintenance

Caution! Ensure that the plug has been disconnected from the socket before cleaning!

We suggest cleaning of the water tank and the base once a week, if used frequently. Ensure that the water in the tank is changed regularly.

Before storing it away ensure that the tank and the base unit are dried completely.

Cleaning the base:

Remove the lid and the water tank. Using a clean cloth, remove any water residues and stains from the device. Do not use any aggressive or chemical cleaning agent.

Cleaning the atomiser:

Remove the lid and the water tank. Using a clean cloth, remove any water residues and stains from the device. Clean the atomiser using a soft brush or alternatively a toothbrush. Then wash the metal plate with water and allow the device to dry completely and uniformly.

Cleaning the water tank:

Remove the lid and the water tank. Rinse the tank using a vinegar solution. Then wash the tank thoroughly with water. Do not leave any residue of vinegar in the tank. Dry the device completely and uniformly.

9 Troubleshooting

Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not certified for use in the open air; only use it in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures. Do not subject the device to sudden changes in temperature or heavy vibration as this might damage electronic components. Examine the device for damage before using it. The unit should not be used if it has received an impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please observe national regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the instructions. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or alteration to the device not carried out by the original supplier, will invalidate the warranty or guarantee. The product may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instructions. The device specifications may change without any separate prior notice to this effect.
