Unplug the power cord. While holding the [∅/l] button on the main unit, reconnect the power cord. Continue holding until '----' appears, then release. All settings will return to factory defaults.

Can I connect a USB device via an extension cable?

No, using a USB extension cable is not recommended. The device may not recognize the device. Connect the USB device directly to the front port of the unit.
