SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Never fold the inserted blanket.
- Do not roll and do not drape the blanket during use. If the electric blanket is used in bed, make sure it is flat on it. If this is not guaranteed, do not use the electric blanket to avoid overheating.
- Do not use needles, do not scratch with sharp objects on the ceiling, and do not use blunt force against the ceiling. Do not attach the blanket with needles.
- In order not to burn the human body, the blanket should not be used by physically handicapped persons, children or heat-sensitive persons.
- Do not turn off the blanket when folded duvets or heavy items are lying on top of it. The compressed areas could overheat.
- Do not expose the blanket to direct sunlight, burn and iron.
- Do not use the deck with other heaters (such as foot warmer, hot water bottles).
- Do not heat other devices with the ceiling.
- Keep sources of ignition (such as cigarette, sparks) that can cause fire, away from the bed.
- Disconnect the electric blanket from the mains if you do not use it or leave the house. This will avoid possible fires.
- The device is not intended for use in hospitals.
- Store the electric blanket in a dry place. Do not place heavy objects on the ceiling and do not angle them. After storage, carefully check the blanket before use. Do not use the blanket with a damaged power cord.
- Never disassemble or repair the heating blanket yourself.
- The power cord can not be replaced. Dispose of the electric blanket if the power cord is damaged.
- Do not use the electric blanket in a mechanically adjustable bed. If you should do it anyway, make sure that the cable is not pinched and damaged.
Children are only allowed to use the electric blanket in the presence of their parents or a caregiver who is familiar with its use. - Under normal conditions, the electric blanket has a service life of 8 years. After this time you should buy a new blanket. Mishaps damaged by misconduct must be repaired before reuse.

Automatic switch-off function
The electric blanket is automatically switched off after approximately 3 hours. To switch on the electric blanket again, first set the temperature selector switch to position "0" and then again to one of the values "1" to "3".
CARE AND CLEANING
- Always disconnect the power plug from the socket outlet before cleaning the electric blanket.
- Before washing, unplug it from the mains outlet and let it cool down.
- Unplug the control switch unit from the heating blanket using the connector on the underside.
Note: The electric blanket may not be dry cleaned, wrung out, dried by machine, pressed or ironed. The electric blanket may be washed by hand according to the instructions on the label. Never immerse the control switch unit in water as moisture must not be allowed to get into the unit.
- In case of heavier soiling, this electric blanket can be washed in a washing machine.
- Set the washing machine to a particularly gentle, 30^ cycle (woollens programme). Use a wool laundry detergent and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
- To dry, lay the electric blanket flat on a moisture-absorbent towel or mat. When the electric blanket is completely dry, it should be reconnected to the control switch unit in correct manner. The electric blanket may only be operated with its special control unit.
- When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding. Store the electric blanket in a clean and dry place.
- When storing, do not place any objects on the electric blanket to prevent buckling.
