This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.
If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it.
The guarantee on accessories and components that are liable to wear-and-tear is only 6 months.
The guarantee and responsibility of the supplier and manufacturer lapse automatically in the following cases:
- If the instructions in this manual have not been followed.
In case of incorrect connection, e.g., electrical voltage that is too high.
In case of incorrect, rough or abnormal use.

BEFORE THE FIRSTUSE
Clean the hot plate with a soft, slightly damp, cloth. Clean the lid, egg rack and measuring cup in hot water with a mild detergent, rinse and dry.
USE
- Fill the measuring cup with cold water and pour this onto the hot plate up to the MAX line.
- Pierce a hole in the blunt end of the eggs with the egg piercer at the bottom of the measuring cup. This ensures that the egg will not burst while cooking. Caution: The egg piercer is sharp. Be careful.
- Place the egg rack on the casing. Place the eggs in the egg rack with the pierced hole up. You can cook 1 to 7 eggs.

Put the plug in the outlet. Press the on-off switch. The indicator light in the switch will light up.

Turn the control knob, selecting the hardness of your eggs, from soft-boiled to hard-boiled.

- Once the device is ready, there will be an end signal and the indicator light will turn off.
Press the on-off switch. Remove the plug from the outlet. Always pull on the plug and not on the lead.
- Open the lid carefully. Caution: hot steam will come out of the appliance. Remove the egg rack from the casing, and put the eggs in cold water. This will make it easier to remove the shell.
TIPS:
- Test which position is right for you. After some practice, you will know just how to cook the perfect egg.
- The hardness of the egg is determined by various factors: the size, the number and whether or not the egg was refrigerated.
- Put the cooked eggs in cold water. This will make it easier to remove the shell.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Pull the plug from the outlet. Allow the appliance to cool after use.
- Wipe the hot plate and casing with a soft, slightly damp, cloth.
- Clean the lid, egg rack and measuring cup in hot water with a mild detergent, rinse and dry. Caution: The egg piercer is sharp. Be careful.
- Limescale may build up on the hot plate. This will affect the operation of the appliance. Descale the appliance on time. Fill the measuring cup with household vinegar. Do not heat the vinegar. Allow it to rest for 30 minutes. Throw the vinegar out and wipe the hot plate clean.
- Do not use any toxic or abrasive cleaning products.
- Never immerse the casing in water.
- The appliance and its parts are not dishwasher safe.
