Which types of vegetables can I use with the Domo My Vegetable spiralizer?

Use round or cylindrical fruits and vegetables, peeled or not, with a diameter between 2.5 cm and 6 cm. Vegetables that are too hard (e.g., raw beets) or too soft are not suitable.

How to install a cone in the appliance?

Turn the lid with the filling opening counterclockwise to remove it. Place the desired cone into the gear wheel ensuring it fits properly, then replace the lid.

Can I wash the parts in the dishwasher?

Yes, all detachable parts (lid, cones, gear wheel, pusher, and container) can be washed in the dishwasher. Beware of sharp blades when cleaning.

What to do if the appliance does not work?

Check that the switch is in the on (I) position and that the plug is properly connected. Ensure the cone is correctly installed and the food is not too large. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

Is it possible to cut hard foods like meat?

No, never use the appliance to cut or grind meat, sugar, or too hard foods. This could damage the appliance and pose a danger.

What is the warranty period?

The appliance comes with a 2-year warranty from the purchase date against manufacturing or material defects, upon presentation of the original receipt.

How to clean the motor?

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.

If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it.

This appliance may be used by children from the age of 16 and up, and also by persons with a physical or sensory limitation, as well as mentally limited persons or persons with a lack of experience and knowledge. But only on the condition that these persons have received the necessary instructions on how to use this appliance in a safe way and know the dangers that can occur by using this appliance.

Children cannot be allowed to play with the appliance.

Maintenance and cleaning of the appliance may not be done by children, unless they are older than 16 years old and are under supervision. Keep the appliance out of reach of children younger than 16 years old.

This appliance is suitable to be used in a household environment and in similar surroundings such as:

• Kitchen for personnel of shops, offices or other similar professional surroundings
• Farms

• Hotel or motel rooms and other surroundings with a residential character

Attention: This appliance cannot be used with an external timer or a separate remote control.

USE

1. Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
2. Place the desired blade cone into the appliance. To do this, remove the lid with fill opening by turning it counterclockwise, and place the blade cone into the gear wheel in the appliance. Make sure that the cone and gear wheel are well placed. The blade cone should nicely fit into the gear wheel. Place the lid with fill opening back onto the appliance and turn clockwise to fasten.

1. Place the bowl onto the platform below the opening.

2. Make sure that the on/off switch is set to 'O' (= off). Plug in the appliance.

3. Prick the vegetable or fruit - peeled or not - onto the cross at the bottom of the food pusher.

Caution: the vegetable or fruit has to be min. 2,5 cm and max. 6 cm wide. To make nice, long spaghetti it should also have a round or cylinder shape.

1. Now put the food pusher with the vegetable or fruit attached to it into the opening in the lid - with the vegetable/fruit downwards, so that the food touches the blade cone.
2. Apply pressure on the food pusher and simultaneously switch the on/off swith to 'I' (= on). The blade cone will now start spinning, and the food will be cut into spaghetti. Push the food pusher downwards during this process, with an even force, so that the food is pushed through the blade cone. Make sure that the vegetable or fruit - and thus also the food pusher - does not spin. The spaghetti will fall into the bowl.
3. Switch the on/off switch to 'O' (= off) when the vegetable or fruit is entirely cut.
4. A small vegetable or fruit cone will now be left behind on the bottom of the food pusher. Remove the cone from the food pusher and add it to your dish or already eat it as an appetizer for the meal.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Switch off and unplug the appliance before removing any parts and before cleaning.
• Clean all removable accessories after each use: lid with fill opening, blade cones, gear wheel, food pusher and bowl. These parts can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.

Caution: the blades are sharp. Be very careful during cleaning.

• Wipe the housing of the appliance clean with a soft, damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
• Caution: never immerse the motor unit in water.
