Intended Use

• This thermometer/hygrometer is used to measure room temperature and humidity and thus to control the room climate.
  The hygrometer is not suitable for commercial use.

Safety

DANGER for Children

• Keep children away from packaging material. Risk of choking if swallowed. Also pay attention that children do not pull the packaging material over their heads.

BEWARE of material damage

• Protect the item against sharp jolts and vibrations.
• Do not make any modifications to the item. Only allow repairs to be carried out at a specialist workshop. Repairs carried out incorrectly can considerably endanger the user.

Setting up/hanging the device

• You can either place the thermometer/ hygrometer on its foot or use the hanging loop on its back. In the latter case, you must first remove the foot using a crosstip screwdriver.
  If possible, choose a location where the device will not be exposed to direct sunlight and with good air circulation.

Cleaning

• Remove dust from the thermometer/ hygrometer with a soft, dry cloth, if necessary. If necessary, you can also wipe the device with a slightly damp cloth.
• Do not immerse the thermometer/ hygrometer in water or other liquids. The device is not waterproof.
