During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty. If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it. The guarantee on accessories and components that are liable to wear-and-tear is only 6 months. The guarantee and responsibility of the supplier and manufacturer lapse automatically in the following cases:

• If the instructions in this manual have not been followed.

• In case of incorrect connection, e.g., electrical voltage that is too high.

• In case of incorrect, rough or abnormal use.

• In case of insucient or incorrect maintenance.

• In case of repairs or alterations to the device by the consumer or non-authorised third parties.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be taken, including the following:

• Read all instructions carefully. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Make sure all packaging materials and promotional stickers have been removed before using the appliance for the rst time.

• Make sure children cannot play with the packaging material.

• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

• sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other working environments;

• by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;

• bed and breakfast type environments.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 16 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 16 and supervised.

• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children younger than 16 years.

• The appliance must be disconnected from its power source when not in use, during service and when replacing parts. Allow to cool before putting on or taking o parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

• CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and o by the utility.

• Never leave the appliance unattended while it is functioning.

• Do not use or store this appliance outdoors.

• Check carefully that the voltage and frequency of the power net match the indications on the rating label of the appliance.

• The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is installed and grounded in accordance with all local standards and requirements.

• Only use the utensils delivered with the appliance.

• Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug or in the event the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the DOMO Service Department or its service agent for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment. Do not try to repair the appliance yourself.

• Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.

• A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. DO NOT USE WITH AN EXTENSION CORD.

• Unwrap the cord completely to prevent overheating of the cord.

• Do not let the power supply cord hang over the edge of a counter, or touch hot surfaces.

• Do not allow the power cord supply to run underneath or around the unit.

• Do not use the appliance if there is any water in it or the parts are still wet after cleaning.

• Do not use the appliance without ingredients.

• Handle with great care when using sharp accessories like knives. Only touch the accessories when they stopped moving inside the appliance.

• Failure to maintain this appliance in a clean condition could adversely aect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation.

• Any injury or damage caused by failure to comply with these rules are at your own risk. Neither the manufacturer, importer, or the supplier may be held liable.

1. Cut all solid vegetables and fruit into pieces no larger than 2,5cm.

2. Do not use the blender for making dough, puree, for grinding meat, etc.

3. Do not use the blender to blend warm uids or other warm ingredients. The blender is

only suited for blending cold ingredients. Also, do not put the blender or the blender bottle into the microwave oven. Do not use them to heat up something.

4. The blender can also crush ice. However, always add enough liquid when crushing ice.

5. The blender has a built-in safety at the start-up. The blending bottle has to be placed

correctly into the base before you can start the blender.

7. Clean the blender according to the instructions in the ‘Cleaning and maintenance’

STEP 1: Fill the bottle with your favorite ingredients. Make sure that the ingredients do not exceed the 710 ml indication on the bottle, or the 530 ml indication in case of the smaller bottle. STEP 2: Carefully grab the blade assembly by the bottom of the piece, the blades turned away from you, and secure it on the opening of the blending bottle by screwing it on. STEP 3: Place the blender base on a at surface and plug it in. STEP 4: Turn the bottle, with the blade assembly attached to it, upside down, line it up on the base and push the bottle into the base. Turn the bottle clockwise to lock it into the base.38 DO9185BL

STEP 5: Push the button to start blending. Release the button to stop blending. STEP 6: Stop the blender when everything is mixed properly. Turn the bottle counterclockwise and take the bottle from the base. STEP 7: Turn the bottle upside down, remove the blade assembly from the bottle and screw the drinking lid on to the bottle. BLENDER JUG STEP 1: Carefully grab the blade assembly by the bottom of the piece, the blades turned away from you, and secure it on the opening of the blending jug by screwing it on. STEP 2: Place the blender base on a at surface and plug it in. STEP 3: Place the jug with the blades on the base and push it down on the base. Turn the jug clockwise to lock it in position. STEP 4: Fill the blender with your favourite ingredients. Make sure that the level of ingredients does not exceed the MAX mark on the blender jug. Put the lid on the jug. STEP 5: Push the button to start blending. Release the button to stop blending.40 DO9185BL

STEP 6: Stop the blender when everything is mixed properly. Turn the jug counterclockwise and take the jug from the base.

COFFEE GRINDER STEP 1: Fill the hopper with coee beans. Caution: do not ll the hopper too full. STEP 2: Grasp the grinding blades carefully by the bottom, with the blades away from you, and fasten it to the opening of the hopper. STEP 3: Place the blender base on a at surface and plug it in. STEP 4: Flip the hopper with the grinding blades, place the hopper on the base and press the hopper into the base. Turn the hopper clockwise to secure it.41 DO9185BL www.domo-elektro.be

STEP 5: Press and hold the button to start grinding. Release the button to stop grinding. STEP 6: Stop the blender once all the beans have been ground. Turn the hopper counter- clockwise and remove the hopper from the base. STEP 7: Flip the hopper, unscrew the grinding blades and put the lid on.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Attention: The edges of the blades are very sharp. Cleaning the blender has to be done carefully.

base in water or other liquids.

3. Except for the base, you can clean all parts in water: the drinking lid, the blending bottle

and the blade assembly.

4. When not using the blender for a longer period of time, save it in a well ventilated, dry
