  1. Read all instructions carefully.
  2. Do not touch hot surface, use handles.
  3. To prevent electrical hazards do not immerse cord, plug and rice cooker (heating plate) in water or other liquid.
  4. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  5. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  6. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
  7. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
  8. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
  9. Don't move it when it's working.
  10. Unplug appliance from wall outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow appliance to cool completely before putting on or taking off parts.
  11. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  12. Use of accessory attachment not recommended by manufacturer may cause hazards.

THIS PRODUCT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE

Anytime the rice cooker is plugged into a wall outlet and the switch is not set for cooking, the “Keep Warm” feature is operating.

MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES

Cleaning: After using the rice cooker, unplug the cord and let unit cool.

  1. Remove inner pot and lid and wash them in hot sudsy water, taking care to rinse completely; then dry with a damp cloth.
  2. Clean outside of cooker with clean damp cloth, never clean any part of cooker with abrasive or otherwise harsh cleaners. Instead, use a damp cloth or sponge with water and mild dish deterged. Do not submerge any part of cooker expect inner pot and lid.
  3. Grains of rice, or other foreign matter, may become stuck to heating plate. These must be remove cooked rice. Afterwards, steel wool can be used to smooth out and polish the area to insure goods contacts between heater and bottom of inner pot.

HOW TO USE

  1. Measure rice with included measuring cup. One cup uncooked rice makes approximately 3 cups cooked rice. Wash rice in a separated bowl until water is relatively clear.
  2. Place washed rice in the pan. And we suggest you add water in the cooking pot according to the following standard:

  1. Set pan in cooker. To place correctly, turn pan gently to right and left. Close the cover firmly.
  2. Attach the cord to the cooker and plug it in. Do not plug it until ready to cook. Otherwise, rice maybe spoiled. If the pan is not in the cooker, working will not begin.
  3. Press switch.Red cooking indicator light tells you that the cooking has started.
  4. When the rice is done, the switch will pops up and click will sound. At the same time "COOK" light will go out and "Warm" light will go on, indicating the "WARM" function will be continued to keep the rice warm. After the switch pops up, leave covered for 15 minutes to steam rice.
  5. Unplug after use. Grasp the plug, not the cord.

COOKING HINTS

  1. Washing rice: bran gives an unpleasant odor to cooker rice. To remove bran, rice should be washed thoroughly in lukewarm water. However, washing rice may cause loss of vitamins and nutrition.

  2. “Warm” feature: using this feature for more than 12 hours may cause rice discoloration or odor. The sooner rice is served, the better it will taste. “WARM” should be used during meal.
