Congratulations! You have just bought a high quality appliance, which will guarantee you years of pleasure. Please read the instruction manual carefully before you take the appliance into use. Save these instructions carefully!
All persons who have not read the instruction manual are not allowed to use this appliance. Pay ATTENTION to the warranty conditions.
1. SAFETY REGULATIONS
This appliance has been built in accordance with the European CE safety standards and is compliant with the general recognized standards and prescriptions with regard to the safety of appliances. As for all electrical appliances, the necessary precautions need to be taken in order to avoid accidents or damages.

ATTENTION please! Burning danger! Due to the use of the flame the surface becomes hot. Only touch the handles or the cool buttons when the appliance is in action.

ATTENTION please! After switching on the appliance surfaces stay hot which causes burning danger. Let the appliance cool down completely before replacing it, cleaning it or putting it away.
- This appliance may be used by children of min. 8 years old, by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge on condition they are supervised and
instructed to use the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children may not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- Cooking appliances should be positioned in a stable situation with the handles (if any) positioned to avoid spillage of the hot liquids.
- This appliance is only intended to be used in household at room temperature and for similar applications such as: sta kitchen areas in shops, o ces and other operating environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.

The appliance may also be used outdoor, on the following conditions:

The power cord should regularly be examined for signs of damage. If this is the case, do not use the appliance anymore, but immediately return it to your sales point.
- The appliance must be connected to a socket-outlet having an earthed contact 230V .

The appliance must be supplied through a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA.

NEVER touch the control buttons, the electrical cord or the plug with wet hands, and NEVER immerse them in water or any other liquid. They are only to be cleaned with a damp cloth. Should they get wet anyway, immediately pull out the plug from the socket.
- A damaged cord can cause electric shocks. NEVER use the appliance if it is damaged, fallen or shows a malfunction, or if the cord or plug are damaged. In all these cases, return the appliance to your sales point or recognized repair enter.
- Immediately switch on the appliance and pull out the plug: after use or when the appliance is NOT in use, if the appliance does not function properly and when cleaning the appliance.
- NEVER use separate timers or remote control systems.
The appliance can only be used with 230V AC.
- For your own safety, the appliance will only work if it has been assembled correctly. Check that all parts were assembled correctly.
- Only use this appliance for grilling/baking and raclette. Do not use it for other purposes or in combination with other appliances.
NEVER leave the appliance unattended and NEVER move it when it's plugged in.
- Check the appliance and the power cord for any damage. In that case, do not use the appliance and return it to the sales point in case of damage.
NEVER let the cord hang over the edge of the table or the counter.
- NEVER take or move the appliance by the power cord. NEVER turn the power cord around the appliance.
- NEVER bend it, squeeze it or pull it over a sharp edge.
- ALWAYS switch off the appliance and pull out the plug
*after use or when the appliance is not in use

*when cleaning the appliance
NEVER pull the power cord to unplug the appliance.
- NEVER use extension cords and ALWAYS unroll the cord completely.
NEVER use the power cord in the proximity of sources of heat, such as ovens, stoves or heating.
NEVER cover the appliance when it's working.
- Only use original accessories.
- According to the legal safety prescriptions: only use earthed sockets.
- Repairs can only be executed by a recognized expert or a recognized repair shop.
2. BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Remove all packaging and stickers. Keep all packing material out of reach of children.
Before the rst use we recommend to clean all components thoroughly:
o Grill plate and raclette pans: with hot water and detergent. Do not use abrasives or sti washing-up brushes.
Natural stone:
Clean it with a damp cloth and let dry
- Heat the natural stone in an oven of 220^ C for 40 minutes
- Remove the natural stone from the oven wearing oven mitts and make sure to place the natural stone on a heat resistant surface
- Let the natural stone cool down completely.
Rub in the natural stone with heat resistant oil, like i.e. olive oil
o Let the frame heat up for about 10 min. and then let it cool o . Clean it with a damp cloth and dry it. Do not immerse in water.
- Assemble the appliance correctly. (See 'Assembly').
- At the rst use, there may be some odour or smoke release. This is perfectly normal and will disappear by itself.
The appliance is now ready for use.
3. ASSEMBLY
- Do not plug in the appliance to assemble it.
- Place the docking station with one half oft he frame on a at, stable surface.
- Then place the other half (by the side of the ON/OFF button) of the frame on the contact point of the docking station, even if you only plan to use 1 half!
- Place the baking plate (choose at side or grill side) and the natural stone on the frame.
- Both frames can now be turned to 180^ .
- The frames can be used together or separately => 2 separate ON/OFF buttons with pilot lamp.
- During baking/grilling, the frames may not be removed from the docking station.
4 USE
Always entirely unroll the power cord, and only then plug it in a 230V earthed socket.
- ATTENTION: when using the appliance, it gets hot. Only touch the ON/OFF buttons. The baking plate and/or natural stone may not be reversed or removed before the appliance has entirely cooled o
- Preheat the appliance during 30 minutes before starting to bake/grill.
Important instructions concerning the natural stone:
Tip: avoid the food from sticking to the natural stone by sprinkling it with salt in advance
Do not use acids, i.e. vinegar
Do not let the natural stone soak in water
After a while, the natural stone will discolour or little cracks may arise. This is perfectly normal and has no influence on the baking results. The stone is a natural product and is not subject to warranty.
After use, plug out the appliance and let it cool o entirely before moving or cleaning it.
5. PRACTICAL TIPS IN CASE OF MALFUNCTIONS
Do not use the appliance in case of a malfunction of when the power cord is damaged. Please address to your sales point.
THE APPLIANCE HAS BEEN DESIGNED FOR DOMESTIC USE. THE WARRANTY CONDITIONS EXPIRE UPON PROFESSIONAL USE.
DEFECTS AND/OF DAMAGES FOLLOWING TO THE NON OBSERVANCE OF THE USER MANUAL ARE NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY.
We are entitled to make technical modifications at all times.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE APPLIANCE AND ACCESSORIES
Clean the appliance after every use.
- Grill plate, raclette pans and wooden spatulas: they may be cleaned in the dishwasher or with hot water and detergent. Do not use abrasives or hard washing-up brushes.
- Natural stone: the natural stone is NOT dishwasher proof! The natural stone may NOT soak in water. Clean the natural stone in the sink under running water with a scourer (without detergent!) and dry the natural stone immediately. If the natural stone is very dirty, you can make a mix of water and soda to clean it (but do not let it soak!).
The frame can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly afterwards. Do not immerse in water.
7. WARRANTY CONDITIONS
Your warranty starts on the day of purchase and is valid for 2 years and will only apply after submitting the purchasing invoice.
Determination of the warranty:
- The warranty covers every repair and/or replacement of the frame and docking station recognized defective by our Department of Service after Sale if the damage is due to faulty design, material or construction. The warranty does not cover damage or normal wear of the accessories.
The warranty is only valid for the rst/original user.
The transport costs are at the expenses of the purchaser.
- The warranty is only granted after presentation of your purchase invoice.
The warranty cannot be invoked for normal wear and tear
The warranty expires automatically in the following cases:
Incorrect connection, e.g. electric voltages.
- Abnormal or professional use or misuse handling
- Lack of care and cleaning
Modifications or repairs made to the appliance by persons not authorized by us as a manufacturer. - When reference numbers have been altered or been removed.
- When not respecting the instructions in the user instructions
8. ENVIRONMENT

Do not throw the appliance away with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an o cial collection point for recycling. By doing this you will help to preserve the environment.
9. LIABILITIES
All liabilities, towards both consumer(s) and third parties, that could result from not observing all the safety regulations prescribed in this user manual, can under no circumstances be charged to the manufacturer. In case of non-observation of these safety regulations, the user of the deep fryer, or any other person not having observed these safety regulations, protects the manufacturer from all responsibilities that he could be charged with.
