How to use the cold air function (COOL)?

To use the cold air function, hold down the COOL button for the desired duration. When you release the button, it automatically returns to its initial position, allowing you to set the hairstyle after drying.

How to clean the air intake grille of the hair dryer?

First unplug the device. Unscrew the grille counterclockwise. Clean it with a very fine brush. Then screw it back clockwise until you hear a click. Caution: never immerse the device in water.

What to do if the power cord is damaged?

The power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service, or a qualified person to avoid any risk. Do not attempt to repair the device yourself.

What are the available temperature and fan speed levels?

The device has 2 fan speeds (soft and strong) and 3 temperature levels (low, medium for gentle drying, high for fast drying). A COOL button provides cold air.

How to use the automatic cord reel function?

Hold the plug with one hand and press the reel button with the other to store the cord. Be careful not to pull the cord beyond the red mark, as this could damage the mechanism. The warranty does not cover this type of damage.

Can I use this hair dryer in the bathroom?

Yes, but with caution: do not use it near a bathtub, sink, or container filled with water. Always unplug it after use. It is recommended to install a residual current device (FI/RCD) of 30 mA in the bathroom circuit.

How to remove the styling nozzle?

First allow the device to cool. To speed up, press the COOL button for about 12 minutes. Then simply remove the nozzle. Caution: the nozzle becomes hot during use, risk of burns.

What is the ionic function for?

The ionic function emits negative ions that reduce static electricity in the hair. This allows for gentler drying, improves hair structure, increases volume, and gives a silky finish. Particularly recommended for damaged hair.

How to store the hair dryer after use?

Allow the device to cool completely. Use the provided eyelet to hang it. Store in a dry, dust-free place.

What to do if the device overheats?

If the device overheats, it may shut off automatically (thermal protection). Unplug it and let it cool. Check that the air intake grille is not clogged with lint or hair. Clean it regularly to avoid heat buildup.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  Children must not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children, unless they are supervised.
• This appliance is not intended to be immersed in water during cleaning. Please observe the instructions that we have included for you in the chapter "Cleaning".

Notes on Use

• If you wish to dry specific sections of your hair only, attach the styling nozzle. That will concentrate the air flow.
• In order to remove the nozzle, let the appliance cool down. You can speed up that process by pressing the COOL button for approx. 12 minute during operation. You may then simply remove the nozzle.

Mains Cable

The device has an automatic cable rewind function.

Always fully extract the cable to the red marking.

CAUTION:

Never extract the cable beyond the red marking, as the rewind mechanism could get damaged otherwise. Such damage is not covered by the warranty.

Electrical Connection

1. Before inserting the plug into the socket, make sure that the mains voltage to be used matches that of the appliance. You can find this information on the nameplate.
2. Connect the appliance to a properly installed earthed socket.

Use

1. Turn the appliance on with the bottom switch on the handle.
2. Select an air stream level on the handle (bottom switch):

Position 0: off

Position: gentle stream of air

Position strong stream of air

1. Setting the Temperature level (top switch):

Position % low temperature

Position medium temperature for gentle drying and shaping

Position high temperature for rapid drying

COOL (Cold Air)

With this switch you can stop the heating process.

Hold the button down in this position according to the desired interval length. When the button is released it returned automatically to the initial position.

Ionizing Function - Reduction of Static in Hair

The appliance is also fitted with an ionizer which gives off negative ions with the air flow when switching on. This process supports safe, gentle drying of hair and also promotes a better hair structure, maximizes hair volume, provides for a silky finish and also reduces static in the hair.

This process is particularly gentle on stressed hair.

Switch-off

Set the switch to "0" after use and disconnect from the mains.

Cable Rewind Function

Hold the plug of the mains cable with one hand. At the same time, press the button with your other hand to rewind the cable.

CAUTION:

The plug can flap around. Only release the plug after the cable has been retracted completely!

Storage

• Leave the appliance to cool down before putting it away!
• Hang the appliance up by the suspension eye.

Cleaning

WARNING:

• Before cleaning remove the mains lead from the socked.
• Under no circumstances should you immerse the appliance in water for cleaning purposes. Otherwise this might result in an electric shock or fire.

CAUTION:

• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.

Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth without additives.

Air Intake Grill

Please clean the grill on the air intake side of the hairdryer regularly in order to avoid excessive temperatures as a result of heat accumulation.

1. Unscrew the grille in an anticlockwise direction.
2. Remove any dirt that is present.
3. If necessary, a fine brush can be used.
4. Turn the grille tight in a clockwise direction. It has to snap in audibly.
