How to use the cool air function (COOL)?

Hold down the COOL button during use to interrupt heating and get cool air. Release it to return to the previous temperature.

How to clean the air intake grille?

Unplug the device. Unscrew the grille counterclockwise. Remove dirt with a very fine brush. Screw it back on clockwise.

Can I use the hair dryer in the bathroom?

Yes, but with caution. Do not use it near a bathtub, sink, or other containers containing water. Unplug it after use because proximity to water poses a risk even when off.

What to do if the device overheats?

Stop the device immediately and unplug it. Check that the air intake grille is not blocked by lint or hair. Clean it if necessary. If the problem persists, contact an authorized technician.

How does the ionic function work?

The device emits negative ions with the airflow, which reduces static electricity, gives a silky finish, and increases hair volume. It is particularly gentle on damaged hair.

What temperature settings are available?

Three levels: low temperature (position ), medium for gentle drying and styling (position Ⅲ), and high for quick drying (position 333).

Can children use this device?

Yes, from 8 years of age under supervision. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.

How to attach the concentrator nozzle?

Attach the nozzle to the front of the hair dryer to concentrate the airflow. To remove it, let the device cool down or use the COOL button for about 12 minutes then remove it.

What is the power consumption of the device?

How to store the device after use?

General Notes

Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this appliance to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.

• The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
• Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
• When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
• Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the appliance off. Remove the plug from the socket.
• The appliance and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the appliance must not be used.
• Use only original spare parts.
• In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

Do not use this appliance near baths, wash basins or other vessels containing water.

WARNING:

• If the appliance is used in the bathroom, disconnect it from the mains after use as nearby water presents a hazard. This also applies if the appliance is switched off.
• As additional protection we recommend the installation of a fault current protection appliance (FI / RCD) with a rated current of not more than 30 mA in the wiring system of the bathroom. Please contact an authorised electrician for advice.
  • The nozzle gets hot during operation! Risk of burns!
• Please ensure that the inlet grille remains free of fluff and hairs.

• Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an authorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children must not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children, unless they are supervised.
• This appliance is not intended to be immersed in water during cleaning. Please observe the instructions that we have included for you in the chapter “Cleaning”.

Notes on Use

• If you wish to dry specific sections of your hair only, attach the styling nozzle. That will concentrate the air flow.
• In order to remove the nozzle, let the appliance cool down. You can speed up that process by pressing the COOL button for approx. 12 minute during operation. You may then simply remove the nozzle.

Electrical Connection

1. Before inserting the plug into the socket, make sure that the mains voltage to be used matches that of the appliance. You can find this information on the nameplate.
2. Connect the appliance to a properly installed earthed socket.

Use

1. Turn the appliance on with the bottom switch on the handle.
2. Select an air stream level on the handle (bottom switch):

Position 0: off

Position ✦: gentle stream of air

Position ✦: strong stream of air

1. Setting the Temperature level (top switch):

Position 1: low temperature

Position : medium temperature for gentle drying and shaping

Position ·s·s : high temperature for rapid drying

COOL (Cold Air)

With this switch you can stop the heating process.

Hold the button down in this position according to the desired interval length. When the button is released it returned automatically to the initial position.

Ionizing Function – Reduction of Static in Hair

The appliance is also fitted with an ionizer which gives off negative ions with the air flow when switching on. This process supports safe, gentle drying of hair and also promotes a better hair structure, maximizes hair volume, provides for a silky finish and also reduces static in the hair.

This process is particularly gentle on stressed hair.

Switch-off

Set the bottom switch to "0" after use and disconnect from the mains.

Storage

• Leave the appliance to cool down before putting it away!
• Hang the appliance up by the suspension eye.

Mains Cable

• The mains cable should only be wound up loosely.
• Never tie the cable tightly round the appliance, as over time this may result in the cable breaking.
• Check the mains cable regularly for damage.

Cleaning

WARNING:

• Before cleaning remove the mains lead from the socked.
• Under no circumstances should you immerse the appliance in water for cleaning purposes. Otherwise this might result in an electric shock or fire.

CAUTION:

• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.

Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth without additives.

Air Intake Grill

Please clean the grill on the air intake side of the hairdryer regularly in order to avoid excessive temperatures as a result of heat accumulation.

1. Unscrew the grille in an anticlockwise direction.
2. Remove any dirt that is present.
3. If necessary, a fine brush can be used.
4. Turn the grille tight in a clockwise direction.
