Non-observation of the following instructions may result in personal injury or material damage. The following safety and hazard information is not only intended to protect your health and the health of others, it should also protect the product. For this reason, pay attention to these safety notes and include these instructions when handing over the product to others.

• This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• This appliance must not be used by children. The appliance and its connecting cable must be kept away from children.
  Children must not play with the appliance.
  ○ Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless supervised.
  This product is for household use only.

The device is only intended for the purpose described in these instructions for use. The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper or careless use.
The use of any accessory attachment not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or personal injury.
The device should not be used outdoors.
- Only specialist personnel may perform repairs on electrical devices. Improper repairs may subject users to considerable danger.
In the event of a fault or damage, have the device repaired by a certified specialist workshop.
- Never open the housing.
- Keep the device away from pointed or sharp objects.
The device must be switched off after every use and before cleaning.

• There is a risk of fire if the device is used improperly or these instructions for use are ignored. The device should therefore

• never be left lying around unattended, especially if there are children nearby.

• never be used underneath a cover, such as a blanket, pillow, etc.
• never be used near petrol or other highly flammable substances.
• only be used in dry interior rooms (e.g. never in the bath or sauna).

○ Make sure that the device does not come into contact with water or other liquids.
- Never reach for a device that is submerged in water.

The batteries are not included.

Please check first of all that the appliance is complete and is not damaged in any way. In case of doubt, do not use it and contact your dealer or your service centre.

Due to a risk of suffocation, the packaging must be kept out of the reach of children.

OPERATING

The cosmetics mirror is solely for the purpose of supporting your daily skin care routine, such as assessing cosmetics. The purpose of the built-in lighting is simply to make it easier to see the applied cosmetics. It is not suitable for lighting a room.

Contact with direct sunlight poses an increased risk of fire. Therefore, avoid exposing the mirror surface to direct sunlight!

Inserting the batteries

If present, remove the battery insulating strip on the battery compartment lid and remove the protective film from the battery, then insert the battery the correct way round.

Operation

For extensive use, operate with USB cable.
- You can switch the light source on or off by briefly touching the touch button on the mirror.
By pressing and holding the touch button, you can now set the desired brightness of the mirror.
- You will find a small additional mirror with a 5x magnification on the back of the mirror. Remove it carefully from the back of the mirror. You can now place it in the centre of the larger mirror. The main mirror provides an extremely clear and complete reflection of your face; whereas the 5x magnifying mirror is suitable for seeing what you are doing in more detail.

Automatic switch-off

The light switches off automatically after 10 minutes.

- CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Switch off the device each time before cleaning.
  Clean the device using a soft, slightly damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent.
  Always switch off the toggle switch on the back of the mirror after use, in order to preserve battery life.
  Clean the device using only the methods specified. Under no circumstances may liquid enter the device or the accessories.
  Do not use the device again until it is completely dry.
  Do not clean the device in the dishwasher.
  Do not use any abrasive cleaning products or hard brushes.

DISPOSAL

For proper disposal, please return device to a retailer, a service agent or Rotel AG.

European Directive 2012/19/EC concerning Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) states that household appliances should not be disposed of using the normal solid urban waste cycle. Exhausted appliances should be collected separately in order to optimise the cost of re-using and recycling materials comprising the machine, while preventing potential damage to public health and the environment. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol appears on all products to remind owners of the obligations regarding separate waste collection. Owners should contact their local authorities or appliance dealers for further information concerning the correct disposal of household appliances.

We commit ourselves to repair this device free of charge, should a failure occur within the period of warranty despite proper handling. We repair all defects caused by material or manufacturing faults. The guarantee will be fulfilled either by repairing the device or replacing the defective parts, according to our judgement. A warranty does not cover damages due to wearing parts, damages and defects caused by improper handling or maintenance (such as limescale and commercial use). It will only be granted if either the warranty card stating date of purchase, dealer's stamp and signature, or the purchase receipt is sent with the device to the relevant after-sales service (see address below). Devices shall be returned in their original packaging. Transport costs are to be borne by the purchaser. Remember to specify your address to your sending, as well as a short declaration about the failure, shall the defect not be obvious.
