How to turn on and off the Proscan PLT7064 tablet?

To turn on, press the Power button located on the side of the tablet. Hold it for a few seconds until the screen lights up. To turn off, long-press the same button, then select 'Shut down' from the menu that appears.

How to insert a microSD card?

The microSD slot is on the side of the tablet. Insert the card with the gold contacts facing down (or as indicated) until it clicks. To remove, push gently to eject.

How to connect to Wi-Fi?

From the home screen, swipe to the right to open the Charm bar and select 'Settings' > 'Network'. Turn on Wi-Fi and choose your network. Enter the password if required.

How to take a screenshot?

Simultaneously press the Volume - and Power buttons for one second. The screen will flash and the screenshot will be saved in the 'Screenshots' folder in your pictures library.

How to clean the tablet screen?

Turn off the tablet and unplug it. Use a soft, non-abrasive, dry cloth (microfiber). Never use liquids, household cleaners, or glass cleaners. If necessary, lightly dampen the cloth with water.

How to increase battery life?

Reduce screen brightness, disable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when not in use, close background apps, and avoid extreme temperatures. Use power saving mode in settings.

How to update the operating system?

Windows 8.1 updates via Windows Update. Open Settings, go to 'Change PC settings' > 'Update and recovery' > 'Windows Update', then click 'Check for updates'.

How to reset the tablet to factory settings?

Go to 'Settings' > 'Change PC settings' > 'Update and recovery' > 'Recovery'. Under 'Remove everything and reinstall Windows', click 'Get started'. Back up your data first.

What to do if the tablet freezes or does not respond?

Press and hold the Power button for about 10 seconds to force shutdown. Wait a few seconds, then turn on normally. If the problem persists, try a hardware reset or contact support.

How to use the camera?

From the home screen, open the 'Camera' app. Use the on-screen icons to switch between front/rear cameras, set the timer or exposure. Tap the camera icon to take a photo or the video icon to record.

I. Precautions before Use

This production is suitable for use in non-tropic areas below 2,000 meters, and the mark in the nameplate indicates the product is suitable for use in non-tropic areas.

1. Prevent the Tablet PC from falling to the ground or being strongly impacted otherwise.

2. Do not use it in the long term in any environment where the air is too cold, too hot (<35 °C), too humid or with too much dust. Do not expose the Tablet PC to sunlight.

3. Avoid using it in the strong magnetic and strong static environment as much as possible.

4. Once any water or other liquid splashes onto the Tablet PC, close it immediately and do not use it until it dries out.

5. Do not clean the Tablet PC with any detergent containing chemical element or other liquid to avoid causing damage due to corrosion and becoming damp. If cleaning is really necessary, clean it with dry soft cloth tissue paper.

6. Our company shall not bear any and all responsibilities for loss or deletion of material inside the machine caused due to abnormal software and hardware operation, maintenance or any other accident.

7. Please back up your important material at any time to avoid loss.

8. Please do not disassemble the Tablet PC by yourself; otherwise you will lose the right to warranty.

⑤ Rear Camera: take photos, and record pictures
⑥Power Key: Press it down to start or close the touch screen panel. You can also let the computer to enter dormancy through this button or wake from the dormancy mode.

Method for quick setup:
