1 Safety instructions
Please read the safety instructions carefully before use, and observe the safety instructions to prevent damage due to misuse, improper operation, and unsuitable environmental conditions. Keep this instruction booklet for later reference.
Check the device for damage after removing the packaging. Do not use the unit if you suspect it has been damaged, and consult a specialist. The recyclable packaging material must not be stored or disposed of where it can be accessed by young children, but must be disposed of properly.
This appliance must only be used for the purpose for which it was explicitly developed. Any other use is regarded as improper and therefore dangerous. The supplier is not liable for damage to persons and/or property resulting from improper or incorrect use.
Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by trained personnel. Improperly performed repairs and alterations to the equipment can have dangerous consequences for the user, and the warranty will be void in such cases.
- This electric heated overblanket must not be used by persons insensitive or highly vulnerable to heat, because they would not be able to react if it overheated.
- This electric heated overblanket must not be used by very young children (0 to 3 years), because they would not be able to react if it overheated.
- This electric heated overblanket must not be used by young children (3 to 8 years) unless the switch has been set by a parent or guardian and the child has received enough information to use the electric heated overblanket safely.
- This electric heated overblanket can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children must not play with the electric heated overblanket.
Children must not carry out cleaning or user maintenance unless supervised. - This electric heated overblanket is not intended for use in a hospital setting.
- Do not insert pins or needles into the blanket.
- Do not use the electric heated overblanket folded or wrinkled.
- Do not use the heated overblanket if it is wet.

This electric heated overblanket must be used in combination with the switch indicated on the label.

Electric and magnetic fields from this electric heated overblanket may interfere with the operation of pacemakers. They are, however, well below the limits. Power of electrical fields: 5,000 V/m max.; magnetic field power: 80 A/m max.; magnetic induction: 0.1 mT max. Please consult your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before using this electric heated overblanket.

While this electric heated overblanket is in use, do not: - place objects on it or pack it (e.g. in suitcase or laundry basket) - place heat sources on it, e.g. hot water bottles, heated pads, etc.

The electronic components in the switch will become hot when the heated overblanket is in use.

You should therefore never cover the switch or place it on the heated overblanket when the latter is used.

Do not pull or twist the cables, or bend them excessively.

This electric heated overblanket must be regularly checked for signs of wear or damage. If this heated overblanket has been used inappropriately or if it heats up more than usual, it must be checked by the manufacturer before being used again.

If the heated overblanket power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

If you want to store or fold the heated overblanket:
- allow it to cool down before folding

do not crease it by placing items on top of it during storage.

Do not use on adjustable beds, or check that the heated overblanket and cord do not become trapped or folded up.

When using the electric heated overblanket for several hours, we recommend you set the switch to the lowest temperature level to avoid overheating.

2 Description of the control unit
Screen
- Position 0 - OFF
- Position 1 - 1st temperature level
- Position 2 - 2nd temperature level
- Position 3 - 3rd temperature level

3 Usage instructions
- Connect the plug to the socket at the bottom of the heated vest and the other end to an electricity supply (AC220-240V). Make sure that there is a power socket nearby and that the power cable is not in a position where the user may trip over it.

- To pre-heat the overblanket, select the third setting for 15 minutes. The temperature will gradually rise.
- After pre-heating, turn the control button to the heat setting you require.
- To turn the device off, turn the button to the 'OFF' position.
Note: The heated overblanket features a safety mechanism to protect against overheating, and is set to run continuously for 90 minutes. If you wish to extend that time, it is advisable to let the heated overblanket cool down for 5 minutes before using it again.
4 Cleaning and maintenance
Follow the instructions below when you are not using the electric heated overblanket and before cleaning it:
- Make sure the control button is in the 'OFF' position.
- Disconnect the power supply.
- Disconnect the plug linking the control to the device.
- Let the heated overblanket cool down before cleaning.
Cleaning
- Small stains can be cleaned with a cloth or a damp sponge and, if necessary, with a little liquid detergent for delicate fabrics.
Warning: the electric heated overblanket should not be dry cleaned, bent, dried in a dryer or machine-pressed or ironed.
- If the heated overblanket is very dirty, it can be washed by hand at 30^ (maximum). Machine washing, dry cleaning and tumble drying may damage the inner heating wire due to the high-speed strength of those methods. Use a detergent for delicate fabrics and dose it according to the manufacturer's instructions. Do not wash the heated overblanket too often to avoid excessive wear and tear.
- When drying the heated overblanket, do not hang it up using clothes pegs or other similar devices. Do not expose the heated overblanket to heat sources such as the sun, radiators, etc.
- Only reconnect the power cable to the heated overblanket when the plug and the fabric are completely dry.
- Never switch the electric heated overblanket on to dry it.
Storage
- If you are not using the heated overblanket for a long time, it is advisable to store it in its original packaging in a dry place, and not to place any objects on top of it.

The product is checked just before delivery. If, despite that, your product is defective, please contact the seller. You will need to present your receipt, as this must be submitted for each warranty claim. The warranty period is 24 months from date of purchase.
Disposal
The device must be disposed of properly. The device can be returned free of charge to the retailer for disposal.

In accordance with Article 26 of the Decree-Law of 14 March 2014 implementing Directive 2012/19/EC and the Law of 4 March 2014 implementing Directive 2011/65/EC on the reduction of the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment and on waste management.
The crossed-out dustbin symbol on the machine or packaging indicates that the waste generated at the end of its useful life must be collected separately from other waste. The user must therefore take the device to the appropriate collection points at the end of its service life. Sort electronic and electrical waste or send back to the retailer when purchasing new, equivalent devices in a one-to-one process. Appropriate separate collection for the subsequent commissioning of the equipment to be recycled, treatment and environmentally sound disposal help to avoid possible adverse effects on the environment and health, and promote the reuse and/or recycling of the materials to which they belong.
Misuse of this product by the user will result in the application of the administrative penalties provided for in the applicable legislation. Batteries contained in the device must be disposed of separately in the appropriate containers for the collection of used batteries.

DISPOSAL OF BATTERIES AND ACCUMULATORS
In accordance with Legislative Decree 188 of 20 November 2008 implementing Directive 2006/66/EC on batteries, accumulators and related waste, the symbol of the crossed-out waste bin on the battery indicates that the disposal of used batteries in household waste is prohibited.
Single-use and rechargeable batteries contain substances that are highly polluting for the environment. The user is obliged to dispose of used batteries at collection points in the municipality or in appropriate containers. This service is free. In this way, legal requirements are adhered to and the environment protected. The symbols identifying hazardous materials that may be present in single-use and rechargeable batteries are as follows: Hg = Mercury, Cd = Cadmium, Pb = Lead.
