Warnings for Use
For the safe use of the ice crusher
As special precautions:
- Before each use check and verify the mechanical integrity of the unit and all of its components.
The motor unit (1), the funnel (2) and the container (3) must not show any breakage or cracks.
The plug and the insulation of the electrical power cord must not show any wear or breakage.
If there is any evidence of wear or breakage in the cord, immediately disconnect the plug from the outlet and take the ice crusher to your authorised reseller for the necessary inspections and repairs.

Do not insert your fingers or any other objects inside of the funnel or in the funnel seat (fig. D).

Before connecting the ice crusher to an electrical power source, make sure that the line voltage rating corresponds to that found on the ice crusher information tag.
- The packaging materials (plastic bags, polystyrene boxes, etc.) must not be left within reach of children as potential sources of danger.
- Before inserting the plug into the electrical power outlet in the wall, make sure that the ice crusher is turned off (the ON/OFF switch in the position "O").
- The electrical safety of the motor unit is guaranteed only when it is connected to an efficient earth connection system as indicated by the safety regulations in force.
Have this system verified by professionally qualified personnel.
The manufacturer cannot be considered responsible for damages caused by a faulty or non-existent earth connection.
-
For your safety, it is recommended that the ice crusher be powered through a line with a delayed RCD breaker switch with trip current no greater than 30mA .
-
Do not run the ice crusher continuously for a period exceeding 2 minutes. Alternate periods of operation with periods of pause of at least 10 minutes.

a3 - Insert the crushed ice container (3) in its aperture (1b) and push it all the way in so that is correctly positioned (fig. C)

The safety switch (5) verifies the correct position of the crushed ice container in the motor unit(3); if it is not positioned correctly the ice crusher will not start (fig. C).
Utilisation of the Ice crusher
b1 - Pour the ice cubes into the funnel (2) (fig. D).
Do not use "Cylindrical" (Spanish) ice cubes.
b2 - Connect the power cord to the electrical power outlet.
b3 - Start the ice crusher by pushing the ON/OFF switch (4) to "I".
b4 - The ice cubes "will drop" down into the motor unit to "come out" finely crushed into the crushed ice container.

Do not push down on the ice cubes with your fingers or any other objects (fig. E).

Do not insert too many ice cubes in the funnel (4) to avoid their jamming. If this happens, empty the funnel (4) and then reinsert the cubes a little at a time.

-
Turn off the ice crusher by pushing the ON/OFF switch (4) to "O".
-
Disconnect the power cord from the electrical power outlet.
- Pour a little bit of hot water into the funnel (2) to melt the "jammed" cube (fig. F).
- Wait a few moments.
-
Connect the power cord to the electrical power outlet.
-
Start the process again by pushing the ON/OFF switch (4) to "I".
