Read this manual carefully before running this appliance and save it for reference in order to obtain the best results and ensure safe use.

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.

2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

3. Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.
4. WARNING: In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
5. If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the Authorized Service Agent in order to avoid hazards.
6. Never pull on the cord when unplugging.
7. Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.
8. Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
9. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
10. Make sure the appliance has been unplugged before cleaning.
11. This appliance must be installed following the national regulations for electrical installations.

14. WARNING: In case of misuse, there is a risk of possible injury.
15. Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
16. Always unplug the appliance from the mains before you assemble, disassemble, clean or make adjustments to any of the accessories.
17. Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid, nor rinse it under the tap. Only use a moist cloth to clean the motor unit.
18. Never let the appliance run unattended.
19. 1. Do not process more than three batches without interruption. Let the appliance cool down to room temperature before you continue processing.
20. Never touch the blades when the appliance is plugged in. The blades are very sharp.
21. If the blades get stuck, unplug the appliance before you remove the ingredients that block the blades.
22. If you press normal speed button, you can run the inching switch to meet your request. But the turbo speed button is immutable.
23. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

24. The appliance is at risk for injury in the event of misuse. Care should be taken when handling the cutting blades when the glass is empty and during cleaning.

25. Always disconnect the power if left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.

26. Always use the blender on a flat, level work surface.

27. Never insert metal utensils, such as knives or forks, into the inside of the jug while the appliance is operating.

28. Do not use for more than 1 minute and do not handle hard foods for more than 10 seconds.

29. The use of accessories not supplied by the manufacturer may cause accidents.

30. Never try to fit or remove the jug on the blender while the appliance is still running.

31. Unplug the appliance before attempting to change any accessory or accessing any part of the liquidizer that might move during operation.

Important

Read these instructions for use carefully before you use the appliance and save them for future reference.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Thoroughly clean the parts that come into contact with food before you use the appliance for the first time.

PREPARE FOR USE

1 Let hot ingredients cool down before you chop them, blend them or pour them into the beaker (max. temperature 80^ ).
2 Cut large ingredients into pieces of approximately 2cm before you process them.
3 Assemble the appliance properly before you put the plug in the wall socket.

USING THE APPLIANCE

The hand blender is intended for:

• blending liquids, e.g. dairy products, sauces, fruit juices, soups, mixed drinks and shakes.
• mixing soft ingredients, e.g.

• pureeing cooked ingredients, e.g. for making baby food.

• Attach the S.s stick to the motor unit until it locks.

• Put the ingredients in the beaker and just as well in any other vessel.
• Immerse the blade guard completely in the ingredients to avoid splashing.
• Then choose "1" - "5", switch the appliance on by pressing the normal or turbo speed button.
• Blend the ingredients by moving the appliance slowly up and down and in circles to blend the ingredient.
• Use the hand blender for no longer than 1 minute.

Caution: the blade is very sharp!

CLEANING

Do not immerse the motor unit, the chopper coupling unit and the whisk coupling unit in water.

1 Unplug the appliance.
2 Press the release buttons on the motor unit to remove the blender bar or coupling unit.
3 Disassemble the rest of the parts.
4 Wipe the motor unit, the chopper coupling and the whisk coupling unit with a moist cloth.

Do not immerse the motor unit, S.s stick unit in water.

1 Unplug the appliance.
2 Press the release buttons on the motor unit to remove the S.s stick.
3 Wipe the motor unit, the S.s stick with a moist cloth.

Disposal of old electrical appliances.

The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.

The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that

when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.

Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old appliance.
