No, only use clear water. Additives can damage the appliance or cause irritation.

How to empty the water after use?

General Notes

Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this appliance to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.

• The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
• Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
• When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
• Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the appliance off. Remove the plug from the socket.
• The appliance and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the appliance must not be used.
• Use only original spare parts.
• In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

Special Safety Instructions for this Appliance

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children must not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children, unless they are supervised.
• Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an authorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• The appliance has a hot surface. People who are insensitive to heat must be particularly careful when using the appliance.

• In the event that water escapes from the appliance, the appliance may no longer be used.

• The appliance should only be filled with water. Do not use bath oils, gels or other substances.
• Never sleep while using the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance for more than 20 minutes at a time.
• Sit down before putting your feet into the appliance. Never stand up if your feet are still in the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance in the bath or the shower.
• Do not connect or disconnect the power plug while your feet are in the water.

Health Instructions

• If you have any concerns about your health you should consult your doctor before using the appliance for the first time. This also applies to people with heart pacemakers, diabetes or other diseases, pregnant women or people with long-term muscle and / or joint pain. Continuous pain may be a symptom of a serious disease.
• A massage should have a pleasant and relaxing effect. If you feel discomfort or pain after a massage you should consult a doctor before using the appliance again.
• Never use massage machines with open wounds, body parts with circulation disorders, swellings, burns, inflammations or skin sores or pus wounds.

Do not push the line cord into the housing.

Operation

Dry Massage

The appliance can be used for a short time without water for massaging the feet.

WARNING:

During the dry massage the appliance may only be operated in the "Massage" position 1.

Wet Massage

WARNING:

Do not fill the appliance with hot water!

In order to enjoy a wet massage, fill the appliance with warm water.

Footbath

1. Place the appliance on the floor so that you can sit comfortably in front of it.
2. Make sure that the mains plug is not inserted before you fill the appliance. Fill the appliance with cold or warm water. Do not fill it over the maximum mark (see inner wall (MAX)).
3. Only connect the appliance to a properly installed safety socket.
4. Sit down and put your feet in the appliance.
5. Set the mode of operation. In order to do so please turn the switch to the following settings:

0 Off
1 Massage
2 Heat + Whirl
3 Heat + Whirl + Massage

1. Enjoy a deep, penetrating massage by moving your feet backwards and forwards over the reflex zone knobs.

2. For a specific foot reflexology, you can additionally use the massage rolls.

NOTE:

The purpose of the heat generated by the appliance is not exclusively for the warming of the water. It is generated to avoid its rapid cooling.

When You Have Finished

1. After use, switch the appliance to 0 and remove the mains plug.
2. Tip the appliance forwards and pour the water through the aperture.

CAUTION:

Do not pour water over the operating switch.

Cleaning

WARNING:

• Always pull the mains plug prior to cleaning!
- Wait until the appliance has fully cooled!
- Under no circumstances should you immerse the appliance in water for cleaning purposes. Otherwise this might result in an electric shock or fire.

CAUTION:

• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.

Massage Rolls

The massage rolls can be removed for easier cleaning.

Massage Rolls on the Top of the Appliance:

Press the massage rolls on one side up to the stop and remove this.

Massage Rolls in the Appliance:

Pull these carefully and straight upwards!

• Use a moist cloth to clean the appliance. In case of heavy staining a mild dishwashing detergent can be added.
  • Dry the appliance with a dry cloth.
