WARNING: This appliance is hot. Keep out of reach of children at all times.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been supervised/instructed and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and cable out of reach of children under 8 years.
Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
- When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
- For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom*.
- Currently, the tting in a bathroom of an electrical socket suitable or capable of operating the appliance is not permitted in the UK (see BS7671).
- Burn hazard. Keep the appliance out of reach from young children, particularly during use and while cooling down.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Before use, ensure the hair is clean, dry and tangle-free.
1. This appliance can be used without steam; when steam is required ll the water reservoir rst.
2. Hold the unit in a vertical position with cap end down to prevent any spillage from any residual water
3. Unscrew the reservoir and ll with warm or cool water to the ll line. Replacethe cap with the tong still
held vertically with cap end down and twist gently into place.
4. The water level in the reservoir can be seen through the water level window.
5. Section the hair prior to styling. Style the lower layers rst.
6. Plug the unit into the mains and wait for it to heat up.
7. To activate steam, gently depress the cap. The unit is designed to release with one push, just the right
amount of steam required for a small section of hair.
8. Take a section of hair and place the ends around the brush. Rotate the styler allowing the hair to wrap
around the barrel of the brush.
9. Press the reservoir cap to release the steam.
10. Wait about 10 seconds for curl to form.
11. Press the curl release button and carefully draw the unit away allowing hair to unwind automatically.
12. Allow the hair to cool before styling.
13. When nished unplug the appliance and allow to cool before cleaning and storing away.
Changing the Bristles
- To change the bristles, the unit must be unplugged and cool. Remove the reservoir and unscrew the bristle lock guard and slide the bristles o the barrel.
- Taking the other set of bristles, gently slide each row into a groove on the barrel and push into place. Screw the lock guard securely back into place and replace the reservoir. ENGLISH5 ENGLISH
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the appliance and allow to cool.
- Wipe all the surfaces with a damp cloth.
- Don’t use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents. RECYCLING
