Safety Instructions

Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.

• Use the device for private and its intended purpose only. The device is not intended for commercial use.
• Keep the device away from heat, direct sunlight and moisture.
• Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
• Switch the device off when changing accessories.
• Do not use the device with wet hands.
• For hygiene reasons, do not exchange this device with other people.
• Do not operate a damaged device.
• Do not repair the device by yourself. Please contact authorized personnel.
• Do only use original parts.
• Store the device out of the reach of children. Children may not play with the device.
• For the safety of your children, keep any packing parts (plastic bags, cartilage, Styrofoam etc.) out of their reach.

WARNING:

Do not allow small children to play with the foil. There is a danger of suffocation!

Handling of Batteries

Do not charge!

Danger of explosion! Do not expose batteries to intense heat, such as sunlight, fire or similar.

Do not disassemble!

Do not short circuit!

Insert correctly!

• Batteries can leak and lose battery acid. If the appliance is not used for long periods, remove the battery.
• Batteries are not to be disposed of together with domestic wastes. Dispose of the used batteries at the relevant collection bin or at your dealer's.

Notes on Use

• This device is only intended for the treatment of finger and toe nails.
• Do not use the device in the event of open wounds!
• Consult your doctor first in case of diabetes, hemophilia, or immunodeficiency.
• Regularly check the results during use in order to avoid injuries. This especially applies for people with diabetes, since they are less sensitive to pain on hands and feet.
• Only use the device with the fitted attachment.
• Do not use the device for longer than 2 - 3 seconds at the same point of a nail.
• Do not apply too much pressure. Guide the attachment with slight movements around the spot to be treated.
  Always work very carefully!
• If the event of pain or irritation, stop the treatment immediately.

Inserting the Batteries (Batteries not included)

1. Open the battery compartment using the clip on the rear of the device.
2. Insert 2 type AA / Mignon batteries into the battery compartment, observing correct polarity. Refer to the markings in the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment cover until it locks into place.

The polishing attachments are protected with foil. Please remove this foil before initial use.

Operation

i NOTE:

Wash your hands and feet or apply lotion to them only after treatment.

1. Remove the protective cover.
2. Select an attachment. If necessary, remove the attachment and fit the required attachment onto the drive axle.
3. Turn on the device by keeping the button pressed for approx. 2 seconds.

i NOTE:

The device features two power settings:

Setting 1 = minimum power

Setting 2 = maximum power

Press the button once again to go to speed level 2.

Start with the low speed setting.

1. Gently run the attachment past the treatment area.
2. In order to prevent injuries, check the progress of the treatment continuously at short intervals.
3. Press the button again in order to stop the device.
4. Attach the protective cover. In doing so, check the position of the clip.

Cleaning

CAUTION:

• Do not immerse the appliance in water: the electronic components can be damaged.
• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.

• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.

• Always switch off the device before cleaning. Remove the batteries.

• Clean the attachments under running warm water.
• Clean the device with a slightly moist cloth. Make sure that no humidity or waters seeps into the device!
• Dry the device well after cleaning with a dry and soft cloth.
• Use a disinfectant spray for hygienic cleaning.

Storage

Keep the appliance in a clean, dry place.
