English Electric fleece blanket with detachable controller

To avoid damage or danger by improper use, the instruction for use should be carefully kept and followed. If you give the appliance to another person, also supply them with the instruction for use.

1. Control that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on Ensure

the rating plate of the appliance.

2. SUPPLY: This electric blanket must be connected to a suitable 220-

2. Switch and power cord (removable)

Remove all packaging parts before initial operation. When heat blanket is used for the first time, it can smell of plastic, but this disappears after a short time. Before starting the first time, insure that the temperature control switch is in OFF position. Use the appliance as a blanket only. This appliance is only for warming human bodies. The best results may be expected when the blanket is placed to a body before switching it on. Do not place the switch under a cover. Pre -heating time takes about 5- 10 minutes when covered. You can use the warming pad on both sides. The heating blanket has an overheating protection and will switch off when failure occurs. If the protective device is ruptured, appliance must be returned to the manufacturer or his agent to repair. The appliance may only be used with 220~240 Volts a.c.19

INITIAL OPERATION Place the blanket flat ensuring that it does not overhang anywhere. Avoid that the blanket can get folded or crumpled. The blanket may only be switched on when it is kind of flat and unfurled. It is recommended to preheat it for about 5-10 minutes. Once the electric blanket has been installed correctly in position, connect the controller supply plug to a suitable power outlet. Ensure the controller is set to Off. Switch the power on. Select the desired heat setting on the controller. The indicator lamp on the switch indicates that the blanket is ON. Only operate the blanket with the supplied switching unit model. CAUTION: The electronic components inside the switch may lead to a slight warming of the switch when the product is on. Therefore the switch must not be covered or placed on top of the warming pad when it is in operation.

4. Adjustable timer between 1h-12h

Switch on the appliance using the hand-operated switch. When using level 3-6 the heating blanket will get warm faster. When using the warming pad for several hours it is recommended to use level 1.

Warning: Do not sleep with the controller set to any level Use high setting

only to pre-heat the bed, after pre-heating reduce the heat setting to a lower or middle level. Set to 0 = OFF when heat is no longer required.

Warning: Remember to switch the blanket off at the end of use,

do not leave it switched on indefinitely.

Warning: It is recommended that this blanket is used with a residual

current safety device (safety switch) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA. Qualified persons using original replacement parts may only undertake repairs to the electric warming pad. Repairs carried out by unqualified persons may cause substantial risk to the user.

CLEANING AND MAINTAINANCE

This appliance is tested according to GS and is built to CE standards. DISPOSAL Please observe the environment! Dispose the packaging according to the local garbage regulations. Dispose paper and carton separately from plastic bags into the corresponding containers. Dispose the appliance at the end of its lifespan according to environmental considerations. (Special waste collection WEEE of your local waste management authorities) Please dispose of the electric blanket in accordance with the Ordinance on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)2012/19/EU or the applicable local regulations. In case of inquiries, please contact the municipal authorities responsible for waste disposal in your area.

WARRANTY CLAIMS The guarantee period for this appliance is 24 months. The guarantee starts from the date of purchase (cash receipt). In case of malfunction you may send the appliance to your dealer, add information about the malfunction and the original purchase receipt (which is obligatory for a repair free of charge) Within the guarantee period we repair defects of the appliance, which are based on material or manufacturing faults, in our choice by repair or exchange. These obligations do not extend the period of guarantee. No claim on a new period of guarantee results from it. An exact description of the complaint reduces the processing time.
