- The appliance must not come into contact with flammable materials. It must also not be used near flammable materials because the curling iron reaches temperatures of approx. 200°C.
- Never cover the curling iron with an

object.

Do not place the hot curling iron on any heat sensitive surfaces.
Place the appliance on a stable, flat surface during use.

>Operating instructions

The Carmen Perfect Curls allows you to style your hair in different fashions. For example, you could create sensual wavy curls, but also have the ends curl inward or outward for a completely different look!

Please use the product as follows:

Use a heat-protecting serum or spray before using the Carmen Perfect Curls.
Make sure the hair is dry before using the curling iron.
Brush your hair to ensure it's free of knots.
Divide the hair into locks.
Turn on the curling iron. The curling iron has reached the required temperature as soon as the light stops flashing.
Choose setting 1 for an average rotating speed or setting 2 for a high rotating speed.

Steps to follow for wavy curls:

Place a lock with its end on the curling iron. Now let the curling iron roll up the rest of the lock automatically by pressing one of the rotating buttons.
Depending on the desired effect and which side of the hair-do must be styled, you can choose a rotating direction for the curling iron (left or right).
Keep the hair in place for 4-10 seconds, depending on your hair type. Please be careful, don't touch your skin with the hot iron.
Thanks to the flexible silicone teeth it's now easy to remove the curling iron from the hair lock.

Steps to follow for curly hair ends:

Depending on the desired style, place a lock at the start on top or at the bottom of the curling iron.
Press and hold one of the rotating buttons while carefully moving the curling iron downward to ensure your hair is being brushed and styled into the desired direction. The silicone teeth will brush the hair while giving it a nice shine.
Depending on the desired effect and which side of the hair-do must be styled, you may choose a rotating

direction for the curling iron (left or right).

Repeat these steps until all of your hair is styled.
Turn off the device and let your hair cool down.
Use hairspray to fix your hair style.
Enjoy your new look!

>Cleaning and maintenance

Ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the mains before cleaning. Do not submerge it in water. Protect the appliance against dust.

Use a soft non-abrasive cloth that is slightly dampened with water to wipe styling barrel surface. Do not allow water or any other liquid to get into the handle of the iron.
