☐ Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.

UK STYLE PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONS (IN THE UK ONLY)
This product must only be used from a 13-amp power socket. If a BS1363 approved 13-amp plug is used, it should be fitted with a 5 amp fuse. The wires on the power cord are colour coded:
Blue = neutral, Brown = live.
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured in black.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured in red.
UNPACKING OF THE APPLIANCE
Remove the contents from the box (appliance, transparent steam tank and steam tank lid). Before using for the first time clean the appliance as described in « Cleaning ».
PREPARING THE APPLIANCE FOR USE
Make sure that the plug is not plugged in and that the ON/OFF switch is positioned on 0. Place the appliance on a level and non-slip working surface.
- Fill the water bowl up to the MAX mark with water.
- Place the steam tank on the water bowl. Pay attention to the four locking pins: they must engage in the slots in the steam tank. Press the steam tank firmly onto the locking pins.
- Put the hot dogs into the steam tank. Do not overfill the steam tank as the appliance may not function properly and the hot dogs will not become hot.
- Put the lid on the steam tank.
- Insert the plug in a duly installed 230 V\~50 Hz socket with earthing protection and press the ON/OFF switch to 1. The cooking starts after approximately 2 minutes.
- The hot dogs are ready after 8-10 minutes.
- Stick the hot dog sandwiches on the pillar, cutting its extremity first. Warning! The spike is hot! Danger of burning!
- Remove the lid carefully from the steam tank. Take out the hot dogs from the steam tank with a fork or a hot dog pincer.
- After approximately 2 minutes, pull the sandwiches off the spike. Insert the hot dogs in the hole in the sandwich.
- Put other sandwiches on the spike and proceed as described above.
After use press the ON/OFF switch back to 0 and pull out the plug. Let the appliance cool down for about 20 minutes and then clean as described in « Cleaning ».
CLEANING
• Always pull out the plug and shift the ON/Off switch to 0 before cleaning.
- Let the appliance cool down for about 20 minutes if it was used before as the handling of the hot parts (spike, water bowl, steam tank) may cause burns.
- Clean the appliance with a moist cloth.
• do not dip the appliance in water!
• The steam tank and the lid can be washed in a sink.
- Do not use abrasive detergents!
- Dry the entire appliance and all parts well after cleaning.
