Use a 3 V lithium battery type CR2477N. To replace, open the housing, remove the old battery and insert the new one respecting polarity. Battery life is approximately 24 months.

How to pair the FU8310 with my Secvest control panel?

Put the Secvest control panel into learning mode. Trigger the tamper contact of the push button (by opening it). The control panel detects the button and assigns it the 'Fire' zone. Verify detection, then close the housing.

What is the maximum signal range?

The radio range is a maximum of 50 meters, but it may vary depending on the environment (obstacles, interference). Place the push button near the control panel for better reliability.

Introduction

The FU8310 wireless fire alarm button is an optional accessory for the Secvest wireless alarm centre. You can trigger a fire alarm at the touch of a button. In addition to the

signal tone, a call can be made to a command centre depending on the alarm centre settings.

Installation

Open the housing by loosening the screw under the button cover and removing the upper side of the housing. Loosen the three screws which connect the button and the transmitter with the rear of the housing. Attach the rear side of the housing to the desired position (ideally near the entrance of residential units, in sleeping quarters or underneath shop counters).

Insert the supplied 3 V lithium battery (size CR2477N).

Learning

1. Set the Secvest wireless alarm centre into learning mode. Consult the instructions of the alarm centre for more details.

2. Activate the tamper contact of the fire alarm button to send a tamper message to the wireless alarm system. The alarm centre recognises the button and immediately allocates the "Fire" zone attribute.

3. Make sure that the button is recognised by your wireless alarm centre, then attach the remaining components.
