How to install the HDRX1F WiFi repeater?

Plug the device into a power outlet halfway between your router and the area to cover. Connect to the 'Crestron_HDRX1F' WiFi network from your smartphone or computer, then open a browser and go to the configuration interface at 192.168.1.1. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your existing network and enter the password.

How to reset the HDRX1F to factory settings?

Press and hold the Reset button on the back of the device for 10 seconds until the lights flash. The device will restart and be reset.

What are the indicator lights and what do they mean?

The power light is green when the device is powered on. The WiFi light flashes during connection and becomes solid once connected. The Ethernet light is green if a cable is plugged in and the connection is active.

Can I use the HDRX1F in access point mode?

Yes, you can configure the device in access point mode via the interface. This allows creating a new WiFi network connected by Ethernet cable to your router.

Is the HDRX1F compatible with all ISP routers?

Yes, it is compatible with any router using WiFi standards 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Just make sure your network broadcasts on the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz bands.

How to update the firmware of the HDRX1F?
