COMMISSIONING
Place the spotlight on a dry, flat surface or take the spotlight in your hand.
With the adjustable foot bracket, different angles of inclination of the spotlight can be realised (Fig. 2a). The foot bracket is also equipped with magnets.
To switch on the spotlight, press the switch at the top of the handle.
Pressing it once activates the spotlight with full light intensity. Pressing it again (within five seconds) switches the spotlight to the secondary light source (100%) (Fig. 2b). This can be adjusted to 75%, 50% and 25% by pressing again and then switched off (Fig. 2c). The less light output is set, the longer the light duration.
If a switch position remains unchanged for more than 5 seconds, pressing it again always leads to the "off" state.
If the battery is almost empty, the LED spotlight flashes five times. After that, the spotlight will continue to shine at 50% brightness for approx. 10 minutes, depending on the battery capacity, before the deep discharge protection switches the spotlight off.
This leaves enough time to change the battery or to finish the work.
INSERTING AND REMOVING THE BATTERY
The adapter can be inserted quickly and easily.
To do this, open the catch and pull the battery cover towards you (Fig. 1a - 1b). Now insert the matching adapter into the Brennenstuhl interface (Fig. 1c) and lock it with the red locking mechanism (Fig. 1d). Insert the charged 18 volt battery into the battery holder from behind (Fig. 1e) until you feel it click into the end position.
To remove the battery, press the battery release button and pull the battery back out of the battery holder.
Then close the cover again (Fig. 1f).
To ensure IP54 (dust and splash-proof), the floodlight may only be operated with the battery cover correctly closed.
If the device is not used for a longer period of time, remove the rechargeable battery.
The floodlight can also be operated without battery cover up to 12 Ah rechargeable batteries; in this case, the IP class will, however, be reduced to IP20 and the floodlight may only be operated in a dry environment. To do so, open the battery cover locking (Fig. 1a).
Afterwards, remove the battery cover.
CHARGING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
Only use one of the manufacturer's original charging device.
